Course Curriculum Overview
The course is well design and aligned to every other govt institute. It focuses on skill development and practical learning. First year is a mix of all engineering subjects but as the course proceeds it becomes more focused to the specification.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for campus placement from 7th semester. The avg placement for cet department is 6 lakh on campus Highest was 40 lpa off campus. Over 90% get campus placements. You just need to have a decent gpa
Fees and Financial Aid
The complete cost of the course is 6 lakhs excluding hostel. Hostel charges RS20k per year , and the mess fee is paid on diet basis. There are quotas for student who are obc/sc/st. Scholarship are provided to students in need. Given on yearly basis
Campus Life
Youth fest is organised every year by gndu. Every department organises their own fest in the months of oct-nov. Around diwali mostly. Engineering departments also organise hackathons Computer fest Polaris happens every second year. Jashan happens every year in April.
Hostel Facilities
It's very easy to avail the hostel facility. It's affordable as well, rs 20000 is the yearly charge. There are 3 boys hostel and 4 girls hostel Bh2 is given to freshers and phd scholars BH1 is given to students from 2nd-4th year. Bh3 is given to masters students.
Admission
Admission was on the basis of jee main examination. It was a smooth process students were classified into groups on the basis of their ranks, and the time of counselling for every group was different.
