Course Curriculum Overview
in first year there is hectic schedule of classes from monday to friday of about 8 hours on an average. the syllabus of 1st is mostly same as class 12th. the mid sem exam for odd semester is taken on the month of october and the final odd sem exam is taken in december and for even mid sem exam is taken in the month of mid march and final even semester exam is taken in the month of may.
Internships Opportunities
The process of internship begins from very beginning of fifth semester and there are lots of companies who visits for campus placement and internships opportunities for the students. students who work hard get easily placed.
Placement Experience
Here the placement for cse branch is good as the average package for cse is about 6.4LPA and the highest package of 44LPA. from the beginning of seventh semester students get placed in lots of companies like accenture, tata digital, tcs etc
Fees and Financial Aid
The fee for odd semesters in this cse branch is rupees 86000 approx and for even semesters it is about 60000 approx and there is no any extra fee for sports or library facility. There is scholarship available for the students who are involved in sports or other extra curriculum activities.
Campus Life
The youth festival for inter university is held in the month of november where all universities of punjab participate with full enthusiasm and in the month of april there is another fest called jashn which is between inter departments.
Hostel Facilities
The average hostel fee for a year is about twenty thousand and beside that there is mess charges which is charged per month on the basis of diet. there are mostly four sharing rooms for first year students and two sharing rooms for second, third and fourth year students.
Admission
the admission is taken on the basis of jee mains and the application is available on the website of university in the month of april-may. However there is reservation criteria on the basis of category or single girl child or ex-army veteran.
