Me and my College

The course is pretty much good. The subjects are sequential and easy to grasp. The faculty here is very good. While there are some inexperienced teachers, most of the teachers are expereinced and help the students 24*7.

Internships on a lot of subjects is provided at the end of each year. Most of the subjects are taught by the faculty of silicon itself. We also receive a certificate for each internship thus solidifying our CV. One can always opt for outside internships.

The college provides 95% placement. Mostly alll the students are placed at the end of 4th year. Big companies also come for placements, mostly tech companies. The highest package till 2022 is 33 lakh epr annum. But it keeps increasing each year. Even during recessions the placment percentage hasnt dropped of not increased.

The course fees is 1.5 lakhs per year. Which is pretty affordable considering a private engineering college. If one chooses to opt for hostel, its 66000 for AC and 44000 for non-AC per semester. Atleast it was in my year lf joining.

There are a lot of clubs present here. And events keep happening every 2 weeks. So one would remain involved the whole year and dedictae themselves to improve. Though small but the college provides pretty much all infrastructures.

The hostel facility is great. Specially the AC rooms. The bathrooms are neat and clean. Sometimes there is a shortage of water, but it is resolved very quickly. The canteen provides a variety of menu with all kinds of non veg and others. Almost different for every meal every day.

I applied from the silicon website through JEE result. The cut off for cse branch was 85 percentile in JEE mains. We had to deposit a provisional fees of 50000 while admision. The admission was confirmed after ojee result.
