Library timings in AEC is very short period I think Library should be accessible to students 24X7

Course Curriculum Overview

Assam Engineering College is one of the most reputed colleges in Northeast Region. The course structure is well organized and the practically useful in life. Regarding improvements the library timings should increase abit more. The class test held time to time to check the understanding of the students and the level of exam is moderate

In AEC from the 6th semester the students are eligible for campus placements Several companies like L and T, Ashok Leylands, Vedanta, NRL etc visits AEC The highest package in AEC goes upto 24LPA and the average package is around 7 LPA Here upto 60% students get placed I'm sure I will get placed from the college

Fees and Financial Aid

The admission fees for Assam Engineering College is around 15,000.It should be paid every year and in addition to that exam fees should be paid before every End Semester Exams The College authority provides a poor fund Scholarship for the lower income students which bear their admission fees and also the college provides consent for NSP scholarships

Campus Life

Assam Engineering College has its very own annual fest named as Pyrokinesis. It is held every year in between February to March. It is a grand program. Provides a stage to every new artist to excell up his or her skills. The college week also gives an apportunity to the sports persons to show their skills.

Admission

To get admission in Assam Engineering College the following points should be considered: 1) Candidate should be 12 passed from recognized board. 2) One Should qualify the CEE(Combined Entrance Examination) to get enroll in BTech courses in various branches. 3) The CEE exam is conducted by DTE every year. 4) Several reservation criterias are also given during admission.

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

The placement of Assam engineering College is average as compared to the other colleges like iit and not. Aec gives placement around 20-24 lakhs and many company parts in the placement cell and many of the students get their dream job

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

5 or 6 semester onwards students are eligible for internships in off campus . They can opt for PPO. There are severe companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Adobe, Flipkart, and some top MNCs . overall campus is perfect to spend 4 years

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.
