Course Curriculum Overview
Courses curriculum are quite good as high qualified PhD scholars teach in IIT roorkee and there is a exam timing for mte : 2 hrs and for ete :3 hrs duration.question papers will be little tough than other colleges.
Internships Opportunities
Many internship opportunities available in my college like JP Morgan for chemistry people pharma companies and Google ; Microsoft;In 5th year we are getting projects and tasks .but there are many industries you can visit and getting intern.
Placement Experience
Placements is vary with no. Of branches companies visited like Google ;Wipro;JP Morgan;many Pharma companies.99percent of students get placed .after degree I want to go in reasearch area . highest package of last year is 2 cr .after 3rd semester students become eligible for campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure of IIt roorkee is like 5 yr integrated course 1200000 fee without any concession and if concession is included it varies as for OBC ;stsc; ews students.there is MCM scholarship provided as per cgpa of individual.and fee weavier is also provided as per income of family .
Campus Life
Campus is very beautiful.there is many fest like social summit conducted by NSS. And cognizance conducted by COGNI group and there is many clubs like coding ; fine arts ; music section; drams .sports curriculum are also good .last year winner of inter IIT .
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility is quite good there is a spacious rooms and good furniture.quality of hostel food is ok but they have to improve more in quality.I'm living in IIT roorkee sarojini bhawan hostel alkananda block
Admission
Admission process is via josaa online platform.As a priority order of individual josaa provides a college to a student it works as a agent between the students and college university.Exam timing of jee main :3 hrs duration and for advance :6 hrs duration with 1 hr break .College should be alloted in online manner it will reduce rush of students in admission day .
