- College is kind of out of city and u neand nearest metro is like 10 km from here.

Course Curriculum Overview
Well I am studying cse here in hits and though the market in IT sector is facing kind of recession but still we all know that it sector have got great potential in coming future.well college doesn't provide us a very great exposure as much I have felt but that's the story of every college at the end u need to develop ur skills urself. Another thing I would say is though teachers are lenient towards attendance but hours of theory class and suprise tests really sucks.
Internships Opportunities
Well I am in first year so haven't got much idea about it but right now there are 2 companies in the campus offering internship of 25-35 k in core branches for 2 months. For 3 rd year students. Many of the students get internship in 7th semester.
Placement Experience
Usually student are eligible from 6th mostly 7th for campus placement. Companies visiting here are mostly mass recruiters like TCS , IBM and others but big companies too have visited the campus but hiring from them isn't much. Till last year campus placement was great but due to recession has decreased this year.
Fees and Financial Aid
Tuition fee of hit is 4 lakh and I think that's comp less then Max of cllges. But again there isn't any hostel available in cllg for boys so if we elaborate the total cost of 4 years it goes from 7lakh to 9 lakh including mess and PG charges of individual.and yeah again there are rumours of fee hikes. Apart of that there are various clubs on college which u can be part off but yeah stipen part is not very good in college.
Campus Life
Well the short answer is college havent held any tests since 2019 and chances are low in near future too. Well library is quite big with no and variety of books even one which r not related to engineering.theres an digital library too which have a capacity of almost 15 individual regular sport event are held here in which u can be part off but yet again if u miss classes u might miss surprise test whose marks are directly included in internals.
Admission
Well for getting admission in hit I applied for wbjee exam where applications form fee was roughly round 2k when the results were declared my rank was 3400 being a non domicile of WB I didn't had any chance in govt colleges and jadavpur at this rank but was getting cse in heritage so I came here
