Course Curriculum Overview
I would rate this course 8 out of 10. Our college is an autonomous college which doesn't follow MAKAUT syllabus(which is old patterned) but somehow something need to be fix which I think, will be totally relevant towards new technology.
Placement Experience
The campus placement of our college is average (I will say). Firstly to get a job in a good company your cgpa should be above 8. If you are interested in core then I would say your cgpa must be above 9 as few core companies come in our campus( story of every 3 tier college). Otherwise if you just want a job in mass requirement companies(tech) then just master in DSA.
Fees and Financial Aid
In our college we have to pay 1lakh per year i.e., 4 lakhs course fee. During admission we have paid 70k including first semester. There are lot of scholarships available in the college. If you want job or campus employment after 4 years of struggle (who don't want?!????) you need to work hard mainly you need to work on coding.
Campus Life
Here campus life is good. This college has a big campus. Other than studies you can join various clubs but you need to keep in mind that you can join max. 3 clubs. You can experiment yourself through this club activities. Other than that there are many sports where you should give trial first(majorly) to take part.
Admission
I admitted to Heritage Institute of Technology through WBJEE. I scored 48 out of 200. This is a low scoring exam. My rank in this exam is something around 8k. Application fee of this exam is 500 for general male candidate and 400 for general female candidate. In WBJEE, the best college to opt for is Jadavpur University. Mostly bengal students get more advantage than outsiders in this exam if they have domicile certificate with them.
