I think, in some respect, college management is not good enough and not friendly with their students.

I appeared in following entrance test VITEE, JEE-MAINS, KIITEE, UPESEAT in 2016. I have to Choose CSE branch In VITEE I secured around 30,000 rank where it was completely impossible to get the CSE branch. On basis of Jee-Mains-2016, I applied for UPSEAT-2016 and I secured rank 784 where all CSE branches are categorized with certain specialization which I was asked not to do by my teachers. At last KIIT was my last hope to get CSE branch and hopefully, I got my desired branch. Also in KIIT placement scenario is too good which also attracts me to take admission in this Deemed to be University.

The curriculum for the B.Tech.(CSE) program in KIIT is innovative. All courses are fully updated according to UGC recommendation. The BTech (CSE) program can be divided broadly into two halves. The first half will focus on building the foundations and will be highly structured. The second part is for further developing the skills and knowledge of the students in various topics - computing and non-computing. The Foundation program provides the basic knowledge about CSE/IT through a set of core courses, which are compulsory for all students.

KIIT Deemed to be University provides internship in the third year. Perhaps IBM, Cognizant etc come for providing internships to students. I have no idea about the stipend provided by the company But these companies took the technical round test for selection of interns.

Placement is one of the advantages that KIIT offers since its inception. As KIIT deemed to be University does not disclose about the how much a particular company invested to hire the Students. By the way, placement is always good. Especially in branches like CSE and IT, students get highest packages. Companies who visits KIIT campus are IBM, Infosys, Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, Directi, Endurance, SAP, Adobe, DBS, Deloitte, Cognizant and many more. In 2017, a total of 140 companies visited the campus and offer about 2800+ jobs and the highest package of 26.0 lakhs given by Directi. 1000+ students bags multiple job offers. In 2018, till now 70 colleges visited and offers about 1900+ jobs with the highest package of 39.0 lakhs by ADOBE System.

KIIT organizes different cultural and academic fest. The annual Techno-Management fest named KIIT FEST is organized every year which provides a platform for the progressive brains of our nation to interact, compete and display their creativity and talent. In these fest students from other colleges or universities also take part. The quiz society Qutopia organizes a national level quiz competition, Udghosh every year. The decent edition of Udghosh was hosted by Vikram Joshi, winner of World Quizzing Championship. Koncord is the annual cultural fest organized in KIIT. The KIIT chapter of Society for Promotion of Indian Classical Music And Culture Amongst Youth (SPICMACAY) established in 2003, promotes classical Indian music, dance, and culture among youth and organizes numerous musical concerts every year.

Per Semester fee is comparatively high which includes tuition fee, hostel fee, mess fee etc. Fee structure for academic session 2016-2020 (per semester) Tuition Fee: Rs 1,50,000.00 Mess fee: Rs 15,000.00 Hostel Fee: Rs 21,000 (2-bedded Non-Ac ) This fee structure is same for the academic session 2017-2021 But the Mess Fee has increased by Rs 2,500 per Semester.

The best thing KIIT is that its campus is Ragging Free. Seniors are so helpful in nature. They are ready to help whenever juniors student needs. They also guide us in career building.

First of all, I applied for the KIITEE-2016 in which I was selected and then I was called to attend counseling process on a date that was given to me. Having a hope of getting Computer Science Branch I reached counseling venue in KIIT University where there was a huge crowd of students and their parents who came for attending the counseling. Now the time came when I was called for choosing the Branch, I chose CSE branch then a form was given to fill, asking about hostel accommodation (Ac / Non-Ac) and I filled the form according to my convenience. There was a choice whether you have to take admission or not, if not, then your amount ( that was paid during counseling ) will be refunded after the whole admission process of college will be closed and if you have to take admission please come with 1st semester fee in form of DD(Demand Draft) or RTGS Before Reporting Date. Then a date was given for Reporting in College, I reached there on time where college ID card, Books, Hostel allotment letter with daily needed goods were given to me. Then I shifted to my room. From there my college life begins.

In every school of KIIT University, there are some professor and some assistant professor. And each and every faculty are well trained and have quite impressive teaching styles. They all have the master degree in their specific field of subjects and even most of them are Ph.D. holders.
