I took the entrance test of jkcet i.e jammu kashmir common entrance test and I scored 117 out of 225 in that and got this college in 2nd councelling as I was in waiting list. I had heard a lot about this college from my sorroundings that this is the best college in jammu for computer science engineering.

The course prescribed here very modern and technically up to date. As the college is affiliated with Jammu University so the syllabus is as prescribed by the university. This college provided us with many research opportunities. There is IBM affiliated research laboratory in this college which was one of the best perks of this college. The atmosphere is technically very sound. You can also get opportunities to publish your research papers if you are good enough.

Yes our college do provide opportunities for students to have internship at college as well as in reputed MNC like IBM, Cisco etc if you are qualified to do so.

Many companies came to college during our tenure such as Amazon, Cisco, Infineon technologies etc. Most of my classmates got placed with very good packages with average of about 4 lakhs per annum. The college seems very interested in providing placement opportunities to everyone. Moreover, 6 of my classmates from CSE got placed with Infineon technologies with package of about 10 lakhs per annum.

Miet is best known for for extra - curricular actives that it provided through out the year. Football league , miet premier league for cricket, fest of 3 days oftenly called as miet sammilan every year. Tech fests also organized here very frequently. So, apart from learning , it provides opportunities for all around development of the students.

Fee structure there is low comparatively from the most of engineering colleges. As it is an expensive Course. Our college provide scholarship opportunities to deserving candidates who were incapable of paying fee. The fee I paid during my coarse was around about 50000 per year i. e for two semesters apart from hostel. I can't say about the latest fee structure.

If someone is incapable of paying his fees then he can also get scholarship opportunities provided he should of good academic record. Loans were not provided by our college.

Gender ratio in our batch was 6:4 for boys and girls. The college is least concerned about ur gender, caste, creed and religion. Diversity is there as many students from kashmir and other parts of the country come there. There is no propagation of particular religion in this college. The faculty was very secular. So, as the students.

Hostel rooms are mediocre. A condition was good. Food provided was full of variety and there is also sports room in the hostel in which u can play indoor games such as table tennis, chess, ludo, can watch television and relax. Maids employed in the hostel were very serious towards their work and there was hygienic environment all over the hostel. Cleaning of rooms is done on regular bases.

Seniors were also very helpful and alumni was always there to guide us as our college also invite alumnis who had experience of industry to guide us in all possible ways.

Exams and labs were frequent but not hectic. As it is a part of learning, it cannot be left behind. There were two minors and 1 major exam in every semester of six months apart from labs. Minors were held within the college and major were held in the centres allocated by jammu University. Labs tests were held with in college with faculty sent by jammu University.

After giving jammu kashmir common entrance test by jkbopee and getting 117 marks out of 225. I got enlisted in waiting list and got admission in the 2nd councelling of jkcet. Then, I just applied for the college and got admission there after completing few formalities and paying fees of my first year.

The faculty of this college is highly qualified. The always motivate students to work hard and help them in researches and leaning more and more. Especially, the director of our college is very keen to undergo different workshops and encouraging students to achieve great things. He himself was an alumni of bits pinali and has an experience of working in an I. T industry so he is the best man out and always organize workshops from different I. T companies to groom his students
