Entrance Preview

There no entrance exam for it. The admission is given on the basis of merit that is on 12th marks. There is three list which is put on. And mostly the cut is above 75%.there are in-house admissions also that has a low cut off.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Course structure has changed a lot after the ruia college have turned autonomous so you will not learn the syllabus that has no use and there will new kinds of practical and theory lessons that you will enjoy.there are many interesting topics that have been introduced there is more of industry knowledge that is introduced and thus there is more possibility that you can get job as you have more industry knowledge so it is a great syllabus and structure.

Internships Opportunities

Mostly they don't provide us with an internship because they want us to find them and compete and fight for that internship. This makes us tough and helps us to build our confidence.T his also makes us good in interviews as we give interviews again and again for the job.

Placement Experience

3

Mostly after bachelor's, there is less opportunity for a job but after masters, you can surely get a job and that can be a teacher a pathologist a scientist a philosopher you can work in beverage industry you can get a job in food processing units and factories.

College Events

4

Rose day, fresher's ,utsav aarohan, samanwaye,dj night ,prom night ,cultural competitions , departmental feast, ruia carnival, alumni day Etc.there are many other small small workshops lessons are being conducted on different different topic and thus it is always an enjoyable environment in the college

Fee Structure And Facilities

It's very much feasible for me it is 6000 rupees for one year it is too much feasible and thus ruka college is very famous for its academics and fees structure and if you come in some caste quota then there is freeship for you.thus fees is very very reasonable so you can easily pay the fees and get admission and that is why it is so good to be there thus this was all about the fees structure and its properties I hope that it will help you to understand the system.

Fees and Financial Aid

You can get a full scholarship if you come in any quota like schedule caste schedule tribe or other backward classes. you get a full schlosrship but for that you have to show some documents of it and fill a form of ruia college so thus you can get a scholarship

Campus Life

4

There are more no. Of girls in college than boys I am just talking about my class don't know about ba there are many many extracurricular activities and there are small games organized for playing we have no ground but there is more signed with the marunga club which is just opposite to our college and we can play there.

Hostel Facilities

3

There is no hostel of ruia college but many people live in pg in Dadar and there are many hostels in lower parel and dadar mess food is not that good in those hostels but there are is no problem in that as there are many restro in that area so there is no hostel for this.

Alumni/Alumna

There is a great bonding with the seniors with the seniors and the alumni's they are very much help and usually the tell us about how the college is and when the main cultural events are there and many many more things like books that should be used or the books that we don't have they give it to us so with seniors is great bonding.

Exam Structure

There is a semester system and also there is a continuous assessment system there are two exams internal as well as external or semester exams .There are 2 semesters in a year that means in total 4 exams in one year.in exams, there is no gap in between the papers so there is less period to study for it now the passing is decided on the basis of both the exams collectively it was actually earlier you have to

Admission

I got the admission as I got 90% in 12th so I applied for it on mu site and took the offline form I filled it and my name came in the first list then there was counseling and verification procedure then you have to pay the fees and you have to select a. Combination that can be any - cbz ,cbmic, czls, cpmic, cbiochem, cbls, etc. Etc thus you can choose the combination and study.....

Faculty

4.5

Our faculty is very friendly and always supports and encourage students to research and gain practical knowledge our all teachers have done MSC and most of them are pursuing Ph.D. they all have passed the net exams. our faculty promotes not only in the field we are studying but also in other fields like law commerce and not the same subject but also different subjects.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I chose Biotechnology because it is a multidisciplinary field. We get to study not only topics related to biotechnology but also biochemistry, bio physics, bio informatics, bio statistics, etc. Mostly everything that is essential for future exams is taught during the span of 3 years. The topics of the units are taught in depth but the questions asked during exams are comparatively easy as to what all we studied. The frequency of the exam is, 1 internal exam which consists of both mcqs and written exam, the semester exam for each semester and practical exams for each subject. If u have studied then you will be able to attempt the questions.

Placement Experience:

My college gives campus placement placement opportunities typically after 4th semester, which is the 2nd half of the 2nd year. As my college has a partnership with IBM so the standards of campus placement go right up as the placement depends on the curriculum performance of the student so can't really say much for this. If saying as a stalemate, getting a placement is basically confirmed if the student maintains his/her CGPA of 6-7, which shows the consistent of the student in their field.
