- The campus is one of the most beautiful in the whole country. Their is so much diversity and a lot of people to connect with.

- The course is a bit outdated and needs to be updated.
- There are rules to follow which don't make sense.
- There should be more freedom but students who are into alcohol etc cause trouble to all others
Course Curriculum Overview
The course structure for our batch is still old compared to our juniors who through new education policy are being benifitted....we on the other hand follow the old syllabus which is industry standard but still could be better. The course should be more modern and practical. The exams depend on the type of teacher u get and your cgpa depends on the type of teacher u get too that's somewhere where their can be improvements
Internships Opportunities
Students pursue for internships online starting from 1st year but in our 3rd yr the college itself works for placing students and internships. Students go for internships in different companies or even other colleges including IITs.
Placement Experience
This is somewhere where our college doesn't struggle. The packages are decent and percentage placement is also good even through recession. The people who didn't get placements go for higher studies and pursue other career opportunities.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees is high even tho being a govt college. Newer batches are paying even higher fees compared to us and that's somewhere general students suffer. The fees for ews and sc/st students are still less or even 1/5th than general students in some cases. Scholarships are provided to girls and backward classes too.
Campus Life
We have 2 fests...1 technical called nimbus and the other is cultural called hill fair. Both are quite grand and students enjoy a lot. Also we have different societies and clubs with their own events,so overall the whole year is happening. Their are sports tournaments in all types of games which see good participation. The overall facilities are quite nice.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels are good. some have few issues like no wifi and water troubles. Food is eatable 4-5 days of the week and I would rather not say about the other days. Some days it was difficult to even get water to drink but that issue is resolved now. But the wifi trouble is still very prominent.
Admission
The admission process was general like any other nit/IIT through josaa. Finding the application forms etc was easy through the college website. The cutoffs vary for different courses from 90 percentile to 99+. Each sem we have mid sems and end sem exams with varied difficulty. The admission process takes time and all day could be better if most of it takes place online to avoid long lines
