Course Curriculum Overview
The Course is native Btech course for mechanical engineering its based on old syllabus and old machines, most of them are not even in application today, but the basics is almost covered and according to me the course curriculum is slightly outdated but new curriculum is on the verge of application. Its not as quite relative to real world application most of the things we have to learn on our own and it quite comprehensive.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided by the college from 5th semester and they are proveded on the basis of cgpa. Also we get lots of internship opportunities from outside the college just because of college reputation. DRDO proveded internships to students with stipend of 50k for 3 months.
Placement Experience
The placements of our college are decent and nearly every student is placed which has good cgpa and no backlogs. Companies like Honda, L&T, JSW recruite from our campus, highest package is of 51lpa offered to a computer science and engineering student on campus. The students are elligible for placements from 7th semester comsidering no backlogs and any problems. My plane after getting a degree is simple to find a stable and well paid job.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure of college is divide into three parts according to the yearly income of family if the student. The first catagory is yearly income less than 1lakh for that the semester fees is around 15k and the next catogory is above 1lakh but below 5 lakh for that the tution fees for semester is around 35k and the last catagory is above 5lakh yearly income for which the tution fees is around 75k. The hostel fees for our college is same for everyone regardless of caste and income.
Campus Life
The campus life is amazing since our campus is located in mountains it is surrounded by lush greenary. The annual Cultural fest of our college is called HillFair which is a 3 day cultural fest which is held in october or november. It is very fun in these 3 days . The college library provides books from every branch and abundant books are available. The classrooms are theatre style and huge equipped with air conditioning and projectors.
Hostel Facilities
The hostel mesls are decent i wont say they are tasty but they are eatable and most importantly healthy. Sweets are provided after dinner everyday and fruits in the breakfast with milk. The rooms are decent size with fan, bed, study table and power sockets. Hostels are definetly more affordable than renting a room outside . The registration process is online and quite simple.
Admission
The Admission process was very smooth , I didnt face any major problems during admission process it was quick. The only problem was there were 2 verification booth and since the campus is huge they were far apart so travelling from one booth to another was difficult. I applied for this college through JOSAA via JEE mains exam the cutoff for mechanical engineering was 42000 all India rank.
