The course curriculum in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness are very good. In this university the faculty members are very friendly and close to student. Faculty members are always motivating student about how to achieve their goal. Faculty members tell us all the syllabus according to modernisation.every topic tells in details.

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 4770 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

In this university only one scholarship can apply a student. Any scholarship which is given by Indian government or state government can apply the student. For Example I am from West Bengal and I applied Swami Vivekananda merit cum means scholarship which is given by State Government and I have taken 30000 each year by that scholarship. But one thing you have to remember if you have got 50% marks in exam then you can eligible for this scholarship

Campus Life

Campus is awesome. Campus is very natural environment. Aliah University New Town campus have 2 hostel in the campus.one is girls hostel which has G+13 Floors and one boys hostel which has G+19 floors.after you have to apply for the Hostel .then according to result, income And distance Merit list will be published for Hostel admission.

Admission

Aliah University conducts a admission test called Aliah University Admission Test(AUAT).First You have to fill online application form of AUAT.Then you have to sit in exam.then merit list published according to result.then admission will take place according to merit list

Placement Experience:

Actually this is a general degree University , so I must mention that placement facalities are not so good. But yes , Job Fair is organised in University by some external agencies which offer jobs varying 2-2.5 lakhs per annum . But in the university most of the students do not accept that jobs. Half of the students are more interested on the higher studies. So ahet completing the fourth semester they prepare for PhD. And the another half are preparing for central government sponsored exams like CGL, CHSL, RRB, SBI , IBPS, LIC etc. University has a significant number of students who have qualified for Government Competitive exams.

Placement Experience:

Actually Some of the Local Companies & Private banks Offer placements which are averagely worth 250000/-. Some of the Students appear for it , but the Number is Very less. Actually In Present Circumstances , Most students wants a stable Government, Especially Central Gov job . So they Prepare for exams like SSC , SBI , IBPS, LIC , RRB etc.

Niper Kolkata: from starting to end

Placement Experience:

2nd year students are eligible for the campus placement. Sai, Hetero, mendine, dr. Reddys etc companies visities for the campus placement. Offers ranges from 5-12 lpa. 60% students gets placed, 10% goes for higher studies and others get job off campus in my department. Other departments has 100% placement. My plans are pHd from Niper as it provides vast knowledge and instrumental exposure.

Course Curriculum Overview:

My decision to choose this course depended on the fact that this course provides you with the opportunity to get various jobs in the industries with a high lpa. But this college does not help much in that aspect. All I had to do was myself. It is my humble opinion that the institution should improve its guidance in the area of its teaching methods. The exams were twice a year and were quite difficult on their own.

From the 2nd last semester, that is the final year, students become eligible for campus placements. Last year, two of our seniors got placed at Reborn Child Development Centre (Durgapur and Asansol) with an average package of Rs 200,000. This year, three students of our batch, including me, got an internship for three months at Reborn through an in-person interview.

1. Students generally get eligible for campus placements from the 3rd semester of the M.Sc. course. 2. Deperments like Biotechnology,Botany,Zoology have placement support. 3. Companies coming to campus like TCS,Wipro,Deloitte,Biocon,Pfizer. 4. Deperments with strong placement cells secure 10-15 offers per company, depending on batch size. 5. 8-10LPA Highest package offered by Leading companies and 4-5LPA Average package offered by companies. 6. 60-80% of students getting placements. i am interested in Ph.D. programs for research positions.
