Course Curriculum Overview
I was very much fascinated by the AI course which is included in mnc branch . Interested in exploring machine learning domain. That's the sole reason for changing branch also. I guess AI covers most of the real world situation and nowadays it makes human work more efficient and convenient. It saves time and hard work . I thought that our faculty is more indulge in maths field rather than tech field. There are few teachers for computer science part as compared to maths part covered. Exams are also very moderate we need to concentrate on real life problems more through maths also as I consider maths to be the most interesting and practical subject than physics and chemistry.
Placement Experience
I didn't know much about placement cell of our college but knew that placement record was not upto the mark after covid 19 . Placement of mechanical branch was very good in our college and then mof material then computer science and engineering In our branch final year out of 48 students 20 are placed.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees structure was depend upon category or income of students. I thought it is convenient for everyone to pay their fee irrespective of students who take student loan for their studies . This is the matter of government not of institution. I think the complete four year btech degree costs around for me 5 to 6 lakhs . No scholarship was provided on time . Like I applied for state scholarship so I didn't get that since two years. No cash prize was there on behalf of or in institution level. But might be there on department level societies.
Campus Life
Our cultural fest hillfair was organised in odd sem whereas our tech fest nimbus in even sem. Both are organised on large level . Clubs were very active night extensions were also started before fest . curriculum Books are mostly available in library but in these days students prefer ebooks over lending book from library inspite it is free of cost. Lalkaar is our sport event held in even semm after mid sem. Interyear , interbranch, inter nit etc are also held according to time I think clubs plays an important role in personal as well as mental development. You are going to learn discipline and most importantly time managing skills.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel facility was good . Sometimes the issue of lan not working or there is some insect in food was very frequent. Inspite of all these hostel facility was good . One more problem they didn't sign outpass of any other place rather than home no matter your parents are ready to send you on trip but warden didn't sign that. Menu was changed with time but hostel food is hostel food always never become home's healthy and tasty food . Washing machine facility was also there so it is very convenient and time saving.
Admission
I was admitted to this college in civil engineering branch but after first year I switch my branch to mathematics and computing as I was interested to explore more in tech. All the admission process is convenient as this is a national level college All info was there on official website without any intermediary source. Mid sem and end sem only two exams per semester Moderate paper was set.
