Course Curriculum Overview
I wanted to take admission in Btech computer since i had a profound interest in computer stuffs and liked to code . The curriculum surely insures to prepare us for the real world application and also ensures well filled knowledge to make us competent for higher education. I find the curriculum interesting but there are many thing that can be done in order to make it more intersting like adding more and more practical classes rather than just theory classes. Exams are help at quite at appropriate interval of time and difficulty i would say moderate.
Internships Opportunities
The college does not provide any sort internships to anyone ,every one have to work on there own for that and have to apply off campus. They do support student with skills and who are willing to do work from there end but not that much as we expect.
Placement Experience
Placement in our college were average before this recession came will serious had impacted our college placements. Student are eligible for placement from 7 semester . Highest packege is around 48 lack and average is around 3 to 4 lack. Neary 80 to 85 percent students gets placed every year. I did not seriously thought of that but i would do a job first .
Fees and Financial Aid
Tution fee in our college in nearly around 140000 which will includes tution and development fees and many other things. Since i got fee waiver in the college i have to only pay fees other than college tution fees. The complete cost of btech is around 6 to 8 lacks excluding hostel fees. There are some scholarships from state government you can also apply for that.
Campus Life
There are many technical fest and and one big cultural fest which goes for around 3 to 4 days known as "EPOQUE". You can find most of the books in the library along with your course books. Classrooms are well equipped with a white board and projectors and from second year onward there are smart boards. College provides ground to play and support sport by organizing a sport fest know as "RANN". The are many technical clubs,social clubs and dance and many they work on students specific skills and make the best of them
Hostel Facilities
Hostel fees is around 100000(1LACK) and hostel are well provided with internet with a limit not exceeding 100gb/month per id (student id). Hostel mess is like most of the messes we see around but they will fill your stomach what is just fine. Registration process is simple ,you just have to pay the hostel fees and you get one . There are many PGS and rented room in near society which will cost you same around hostel.
Admission
Eligibility for the course is that one must have passed 12 with aggregate marks in pcm more than 75% and one couselling will be based on the score of jee mains. You can find the registration form on the aktu website. The registration from is easy and well defined you can easily do it there on the site and after you finish. The frequency of exams varies but on average it is something like 1.5 to 2 months. I found the admission process easy and handy . I did not avail any reservation benifits.
