Best college in West Bengal

Overall our college is a very good college in Westbengal in terms of placement, infrastructures, faculties , management , sports , culture , hostel facilities .

I have given wbjee entrance examination. Thereafter based on my rank , I selected 10-12 colleges based on my department preference. After completion of 3rd counseling I got Haldia institute of technology department IT . Also one of my senior relatives had been a part of this college. He recommended me also to join.

The course curriculum was well . You will get almost every subject to learn in 4 years. . In this first year , everyone will get the same department school of applied science and the syllabus for first year is same throughout every department. If any one wants to change his/stream . He/she has to obtain an avg of 8.5 cgpa in the first year . Thereafter if you wish to change the branch you can go to any branch of your choice.

No , our college doesn't provide the internship . But if anyone wants to do summer training or workshop in any technology. He /she can register for that . Some are free . Some are paid .

Well frankly speaking , compare to other private colleges in bengal our placement is good . The main problem is our college resides on the outer edge of West Bengal . So not many companies come for the placements selection . For cse,IT and ece the placement is good . By the end of college . 80%students get placed .

Events include such as college orientation day . Cultural fest( music , dance, stage permornance , etc , Rivera annual fest( dj night , computer games ) .Sports competition such as table tennis , cricket , basketball , football , volleyball, carrom , chess badminton etc department wise .

The Fee structure is feasible compare to other private colleges . Also they provide scholarships to the needy ones. Around 40k per semester is charged . For year around 80k .According to my survey you can save money compared to any other college . Feasible .

Yeah , college provide scholarships to the needy ones.Suppose any guardian dies or any financial problem crisis occurs in the college period . The college provide full financial support (tution fees for semester ) Apart from this you'll also get minorities or obc scholarship for the needy ones .for this you have to apply and fill form online .

The college infrastructure is very huge . You won't get this much area in any other private college in wb. Almost from every part of state students come in a wide variety every year. The lab facility is best here. Robotics competition are also being held in cultural fest . Students from iit nit also take part in this competition.

The hostel facilities are okay . I don't think you will get as cheap hostel as any other college . In our time . The charge was 7500 Rs for 6months . And the hostel was fully furnished and tiles also . Also every Sunday , maitanence is going on. Mess food was okay to eat . Only AAkash hostel food was very good .

I miss our teachers and seniors also.You'll get feeling like a family . Seniors are everything there . You'll learn every thing from them .

The exam structure is semester wise . In one year there are two semester And in a semester there are two internal examinations. 1st of 15marks every paper. .2nd of 30 marks every paper And one external . 70 marks every paper And aggregate of two internal are added out of 30.

After giving my 12th examination. I took wbjee entrance exam . Thereafter the counselling process starts. I got near 17000 rank. I applied for many colleges in West Bengal . Every college has set their ranking list . There were three rounds of counselling process . I got HALDIA INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY college and information Technology as branch .

Well every teacher is best . We can't comment on any teacher . They do their job. Whatever help you want they will help you . Whatever doubts you are having, you can ask them . They always want to give their 100% . It's the responsibility of student to utilise the time well .
