Remarks
BAD only BAD remarks from me. TBH I was ready enough to help other juniors but that was not going to be easy due to the same reason, people coming to the college were not ready to study at all.
Entrance Preview
One of my Schoolmates was already there so he referred me to opt for the same. And one more reason was that I was a bit late and joined this around November of that year so most of the colleges were not accepting admissions at that period of time, so that was the only option I had.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course followed by the college was nothing different than any other AICTE approved college(ignoring the exceptions). I think all colleges under MDU Rohtak had same course structure and system so nothing seems out of order to me in case of the course curriculum.
Internships Opportunities
NO. A big NO. College did not take any pain to provide internship to any of their students in the college. In terms of stipend, we had an HCL visit to our college which was asking for money from the students for a course which ensures their placement in HCL, which I think is ridiculous.
Placement Experience
I would say Zero until or unless BPOs and other small non-technical firms are included and considered as Placements. I am only giving views for my branch and my technical year. I never heard of any campus placement going on from my seniors or juniors too so think this was the case for all.
College Events
During my span of 4 years, I only saw 1 sports event going on in my college. I heard from my seniors that we had an Annual day too somewhere in the mid 90s :) But not when we were in college. So there is nothing to make a list. Yes, me and 3 of my friends organized few seminars(Ethical Hacking by TechDefence and so) just to make something happening in college.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fee structure seems to be okay, as we had a yearly based fee submission structure and I think this was okay if we consider the fact that we are in a Private college. But if we compare this with the facilities that we were given, I don't think the money I have spent for my college was worth it.
Fees and Financial Aid
No facility offered by college, in terms of scholarship, yes the reduce your donation amount to 0. I don't think any loan facility was there, but to be true, I never enquired about the same.
Campus Life
Campus life was nothing like we see in TV Ads, it was a normal boring college life which when we compared from our school lives, it was a hell lot better. Gender ratio seems to be okay
Hostel Facilities
I have never been to the hostel cause I was a daily commuter to the college. But yes few of my friends were living in the hostel and they were barely living there. The mess food was awful and they were not allowed to go to any other place than the Mess.
Alumni/Alumna
No, nothing is helping, as none of your senior will talk about your career or even theirs. Most of the seniors were not from the city and were coming from local nearby villages only(I like to call those cities as villages due to the accent and thinking process they carry). So no network was helpful, I should say there was no network at all.
Exam Structure
Same as all other MDU colleges I guess. We had 8 semesters in total. Exam for all 7 Semesters with 5-7 subjects and the 8th semester was for Project submission or Internship details(Marks were given out of 300 on the basis of your project or internship details, which was bogus as everyone was getting at least 250 for no reason). We do had 2 internals in each semester but they had no impact in final Semester exams.
Admission
One of my School mate was already there so he referred me to opt for the same. I visited the college with my parents and went through the campus(which was not big). After that we submitted the admission fees and Tuition fee for the year same day itself.
Faculty
The faculty that we had was futile. They were not sure, not confident about what they are trying to teach us. This is not generalized, as we have few teachers who were good enough at what they teach. But as we were a lot of students against those very few good teachers, so the ratio doomed us all.
