- Class infrastructure is little bit bad cause some of our class fans don't work
- Bathroom is quite bad here and dirty and warm water comes in limited washroom only
- Here dogs freely roam in campus and these dogs are agressive and no action is took over them
Course Curriculum Overview
Nowadays we get the college admission through Jee exam unlike previously where we were given admission on the basis of boards exam,so I also prepared for the competitive exam and was able to get admission in GNDU amritsar Cse branch which is a good thing , cause in this branch we gain enough skills to get a job . This course help you get a job if you have enough skills,i gave my jee mains exam after boards and it was of 3 hours and quite difficult but a student who prepared for it can easily score.
Fees and Financial Aid
Nowadays the tution fees are increasing rapidly especially in private colleges where students provide a large amount of money and hardly getting placement or job but in our college we are provided with a special scholarship to lower cast people like sc and St whose parents annual income is less than 3 lakh ,they are provided free tution fees
Campus Life
In our college we have good annual festivals .one of the most famous festival here is jashan in which many departments of the university compete with each other to win. There are other fests too.also in our library we are provided with a wide range of books from cultural religious books to our course syllabus books. In our classes also we are given projectors. Along with study factor our college is also famous for its sports ,our college often got a position in inter college sports competition
Hostel Facilities
We have been provided with a hostel also. The hostel is only provided to those who live far from their home . We are given mess food along with the hostel. In our mess we have a wide range of food varieties like in morning we have to choose between paranthas ,dalia,eggs,sandwich and along with these we are given tea or milk. In the afternoon we are given rice and chapatis along with salad , sometimes curd and daal
Admission
I started applying for this university after my 12th grade by preparing for jee mains entrance examination as I had already given my first attempt in January I was not so sure if I would get into any IITs or NITs so I started to look for government colleges. Then I came to know about Gndu University by many websites and the fees was bearable and the placements looked very concrete and reliable with 100% placements guaranteed. After my jee result was out I realised I made a very noble research and it didn't go to any waste. Counselling was great and it was almost like a fair arranged on Baisakhi. The admission process was really smooth.
