- The campus life is awesome as well as hostel life due to the exposure and no uniform is compulsory which is a good attribute about this college.
- The clubs are also fascinating and always new events occur in which we take part and is free to participate for all.
- Faculty members are really helpful and they guide us with courses . Classes are also of less duration after 1st sessional exam.
Dislikes
- The campus is not very large which is a let down sometime . The cricket ground is not very big.
- Hostelers have a lot of limitations and they don't get much time outside college.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course is old and outdated of AKTU. The CSE(AI) branch is new addition to the btech course , but the upcoming need of AI led me to choose this course. Faculty members are helpful and knowledgeable.
Internships Opportunities
The placement cell helps in every manner as of my college the core students are having a great placement session As for CSE they all contribute on GitHub and other platforms and the last thing is that you have to work hard yourself for internship opportunities because the college cannot help anyone who doesn't even know basics. Companies like Tcs, Infosys, Etc .
Placement Experience
Placement as of right now is at the worst due to recession Mass recruitment companies are visiting but not very frequently 50-100 companies visit every year if we look at previous year records and average package of 6 lakhs per annum was offered. I know some of my seniors who have grabbed 12 lakhs/ annum and they belong to mechanical branch. My plans after the degree as of now is to do mtech from Germany .
Fees and Financial Aid
There is no tution fee hike during the course, 118999 rs is the fees of each year where 20000 will be asked during admission and 7000 is University fees . Hence a total of 145999 rs will be your fees as of 2024 Then if you opt for hostel or other facilities you can expect your expense for another 150000 per year . But there are always scholarship and loan that you can avail. The scholarship is done through college faculties You can ask at the registrar for all the details The Home state scholarship and central scholarship are available during the early session of admissions. Fw seats are also available for students in need.
Campus Life
There are fest and sports activities held every 2-3 months in the college , which people participate based upon there interests. Some cultural fests are Epoque, Impeccables. Tdch fest like Innotech, Ted talks , hackathons are organised. Sports fest like Rann and Spardha are organised. There is one central library for the students open 15-16 hrs for hostelers. Classrooms have A.C and Smartboards for presentations. Social groups and clubs are a big part of the college Drama,singing,dancing,sports clubs are celebrated vividly and the teams are traveling to other colleges to participate.
Admission
The eligibility of the course is to have PCM in class 12 and above 60 percentage aggregate. The admission process is done through AKTU (UPTAC) counseling. Reservation is provided for OBC/EWS/SC/ST and home state of Uttar Pradesh Domicile student . 2 sessional exams are held before semester and internal practicals are also considered. The admission is processed online through AKTU and then document verification is processed by physical reporting.
