SMVDU - A True Outlook

Curriculum is actually impressive, we have our academic calendar according to which our semester goes on, we have a lot of extra curricular activities, and lot of NEP Courses, exam are conducted 3 times per semester 2 minor of 20 mark each and a major of 50 marks

SMVDU offers many Internship opportunities to students from 3rd sem and so on, also some opportunities from 1st Sem, SMVDU conducts many Internship with alliance with IIT which helps in understanding new concepts and taking an academic step, SMVDU has a training and Placement Cell which allows Students to get knowledge about companies and Opportunities, Seniors also help with placement and Training with New Technology

BTech student get eligible for Campus placement from start of 7th sem in SMVDU, many companies visit SMVDU like cognizant, Amazon, etc, Highest package of 2022 was 27 lakh average was 5 lakh, almost 110 out 200 btech student placed my goal after degree is either to go into IT company or prepare for RBI Grade B Officer

My tuition fee was 141240, and there was some additional one time charges during admission like Security Deposit of 10000, One Time Charges worth 10750 and every year a charge named Annual Fee 17000, and for hostel the charge is 20000 and 23358 for Mess Separately, Candidates scoring admission in B.Tech through JEE Main Direct Counseling/JOSAA and they should be having JEE Main Rank below 120000 or maybe less I am not sure but they get a scholarship of 3-5 semester based on their rank

SMVDU organise tech fest like Titiksha, and other fest like resergence, and a sports competition named Sarang in which all the houses comepete also we have a huge ground and a sports complex with all the sports equipment available we also organise friendly matches with IIT Jammu and University of Jammu, SMVDU has alot of clubs like Aalap Music Club, Dance Club, Art Club, Backstage Club etc. SMDVU has it's own auditorium named Matrika

Hostel facility is best, SMVDU has 5 boys Hostel and 2 Girls Hostel, I have a room in New Basohli Hostel at Ground Floor and I have alot of facilities like Hot Water, Clean Bathroom my Caretaker sir is also very nice, mess food is 4 times a day - morning breakfast 8-9:30 Am, lunch 1-2PM, snack 5:15-6 PM, Dinner 8-9:30 Pm, tasty and nutrition food with alot of variety, registration process is easy, place a request at DSW Office and allotment will be done

I got admission through CUET Counseling conducted by SMVDU itself I filled admission form on SMVDU website after giving CUET and during 1st round of CUET counselling I got admission offer, subject consider for btech admission in SMVDU through cuet is English, Physics, Mathematics
