- Campus of this college Is very awesome . it is located near Dal lake so you can get a very beautiful look at morning as well as at evening .
- Sports facilities of this college is very good and awesome . as Two new Basketball court are inaugurated last year and Badminton court and new football ground are inaugurated .
- Teacher and faculty are very good and cooperative .
Dislikes
- Laboratories classes are taken by PhD scholar are taken by Mtceh students that I dnt like personally.
- Sometimes Out of college some protest are takes place that is most disgusting thing
- Over all college is good at you can get at lower rank .
Course Curriculum Overview
Im a student of electrical engineering at NIT srinagar . Here different subjects are taught in defferent semester they add value in real life after the completion of course .The Laboratory are very good and the practical knowledge course are .So department of electrical engineering and electro communication are very good .
Internships Opportunities
Internship opportunities are very good at this college . as last year Internship of top 4 branches were nearly 100 percent . You can get easily internship institute like IISC BANGLORE and at different top IITs and at different multinational companies such As DRDO ONGC OIL india etc ...
Placement Experience
At NIT Srinagar placement are quite good as last year the highest placement was 42 lakh per annum fir the students of Computer science engineering . average if CSE brach was 15 Lkah per annum and For the Information technology branch it was approximately 14 lakh per anum fir The Electronic and communication engineering it was 13 lakh per annum for the Electrical engineering it was about 11 lakh per annum . but the placement of lower brach is ok ok
Fees and Financial Aid
Here fee structure is based on you financial condition and based on your category . If you are from a general category and income above 5 lakh then you have to pay 81 thousands for the semester fee and 20 thousand for the mess fee . If you are a candidate of general category having income between 1lakh to 5 lakh then you have to deposit 40 thousand for semester And 20 thousand for the mess fee . If you are a candidate of general category having income bellow 1 lakh then then you have to pay only 18500 only for the semester fee and 20 thousand for the mess fee . If you are from obc candidate having income above 5 lakh then you have to pay same as Genaral candidate having income above 5 lakh . If your income have between 1to 5 lkah then same as Genaral candidate having 1 to 5 lakh . If you are SC ST then you have 100 fee waiver for tution fee only .
Campus Life
NIT srinagar campus is most beautiful campus among all the IITs and NITs over the India . Here at NIT srinagar Some club are active such as Semicolon for coding enthusiastic students aand more club are active such as Show Box for singing students .And there are several club are running at this institute . sport facilities are very good because newly made grounds for basketball cricket and football are inaugurated . Overall Sports facilities are very good .
Admission
To get admission at NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY SRINAGAR you have to be appear In JEE MAINS and secured a decent percentile as given below .if you are a general candidate from other than jammu and kashmir then you to get 98 percentile to get here Computer and science engineering if you are from OBC then 97 or 96 and if you are belong from SC ST then you to secure atleast 95 percentile .
