I've took AIEEE and MHCET for my engineering admissions. I've got this college through my AIEEE scores in AI quota seats.
Course Curriculum Overview
As college falls under University of Pune there is no doubt that course structure is very nice. And talking about focus on research is not quite well and I think all other colleges also have situation regarding research during under graduation. But if you are trying to do or create something new or ready to carry out research work on something. I guarantee that everyone there will help you out there.
Internships Opportunities
College does not provide any kind of a internship program but there is one "Earn & Learn" program for students from weak financial background. Though college does not provide any internship programme you are completely allowed to do internship in your vacations(But you are not allowed to bunk college for this purpose).
Placement Experience
Placement and job opportunities are very great here. Placement rate is around 95-100%. Placements happening here are centralized. Students who are eligible for placements have to go Main campus of Sinhgad Institutes at Vadgaon(Pune). Percentage of companies coming to recruit on campus from IT sector is much more than other fields.
College Events
There is one major event called "Sinhgad Karandak" is take placed every year during second semester which is being organized and controlled by centrally from Sinhgad Vadgaon campus and all other campuses of Sinhgad institute manages this Karandak. Karandak is national level event which has various technical,cultural,management and sports events in it. Also college organizes various events at college level and departmental level.
Fee Structure And Facilities
According to me fee structure of college is quite bit expensive. Currently fees for open category is around 1 lac to 1.3 lac and that for OBS is around half of that.

If you are in category then you have options to apply for scholarships given by Government.
Campus Life
As campus is at hill station this place is very great for parties. But dorm,hostel party is allowed. Gender ratio is also quite good. Workshops,cultural societies are very active. Issues with regards to gender,ethnicity,race,religion,sexual orientation,politics and economic status are very very rare. Almost no will make wrong comments on this issues.
Hostel Facilities
Best thing in college is Hostel. Almost 80-90% students stay on campus at hostels. Hostels here are very great experience to live. There is compulsion of joining mess if you are staying on hostels. Campus has around 7-8 mess and I think you all are aware
Alumni/Alumna
Actually does not have any personal online network for students or alumni. But every year college organizes alumni meet so that students can interact with alumni.
Exam Structure
Exam structure is also good. All practical,written,internal,oral, etc examinations are conducted in college itself. Practicals labs are also quite good. College has each every instrument available which is required to perform practicals given in syllabus
Faculty
Faculties are very great here. Almost everyone is M.E major number of faculty members are Ph. D. holders or pursuing Ph. D. many of them are pursuing thier Ph.D. from foreign Universities under various affiliation programs. Every faculty member is helpful
