Course Curriculum Overview

3

I would rate bad for course curriculum because syllabus is vast and many subjects are useless or not taught properly. Some subjects are very useful in our field and some are in real world but not all are taught good. I suggest to reduce the subject and syllabus as student are in pressure. Teaching should be more practical for bring interest in it. Frequency of the exam should be 2 times only.1st for half syllabus and 2nd for other half and difficulty should be medium to hard.

Fees and Financial Aid

Tuition fee is 141240 per year and complete cost is 222358 hostel and mess fee included. If student's rank is under 100000 then 72000 of scholarship is given by University. There is other scholarship available for students if you get 8.5 or above sgpa and student is in top 10 per semester then scholarship will be given. Placement is medium in SMVDU.

Campus Life

4.5

My overall experience is very good in this college because it is better than I expect. Annual function is held here. Technical festival not held much butthere is many active clubs like dance , music , photography, art , yoga and much more. Accessibility of books is very good as here is central library. Technological facilities in classroom is also good they have projectors and smart board. Sport culture is good here. Sport fest held once in year called Sarang. Other curriculum activities are also held.

Hostel Facilities

4

Hostel infrastructure is very good it is like hotel. Facilities also good in room. There is two beds and two table and two chair and two separate almirah but meal quality is poor for first year students. Hostel are provided and it's fee is 20000 and mandatory for all and registration process is with admission. I am not day scholar so I don't know any PG to recommend.

Admission

You should appear in joint entrance exam mains (JEE mains) for eligible and have to clear cutoff. Application form for JEE mains and it's date can be seen on the official website of NTA and application fee also.Reservation benefits can be availed if you are EWS/OBC/SC/ST. It can give you great advantage to clear cutoff of higher and demanding branch.JEE mains held two times in year 1st in January and 2nd attempt in April. Best of two will be consider for final result and exam will be of 3 hrs including subjects maths, chemistry and physics l. Difficulty of this exam is medium according to me because there were hard as well as easy question. We should provided more time to visit college for admission as my college is far from my home so transport were very difficult in less time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
