Campus is big and and weather here is also beautiful.
You can play every sports here .sports ground is big
Gym fees here is affordable and library is open 24 /7.

Dislikes

Fests doesn't happen offen but dj nights and cultural fests happens
Their is power cut 2-3 times in a month . Their is network problems
Teacher here doesn't give you good marks so scoring a good CGPA is quite difficult

I have opted for ECE branch it is the most demanding branch in future and teacher here are very intelligent and highly qualified in their particular field of specialisation. Course curriculum is based on NEP .

Intership opportunities are also available in college but you can go off campus intership which have high chances to get great intership in good companies. Intership in IIT DELHI ,WIRPO , IIT Hyderabad ,TCS Etc. Most of the time you don't get stipend in college offer internship but sometimes you can get for stipend about 80000-100000

Placement Experience

From 4th year you are eligible for placement. Their is a culture of GATE and UPSC in the college more than placement. Placement are also convincing. Our senior got 20 lpa from ECE and 22 lpa from CSE. Most of the girls got placed. I might be sitting for the placement.

Fees and Financial Aid

142000 is the tuition fees . If jee rank is under 1lac then 3 semester fees comes in the form of scholarship and if ur SGPA is above 8.5 then you can get scholarship upto 70000. Hostel fees is 20000 Mess fees is 23358 changes every year.

Campus Life

Their are various clubs like Gdsc , AI circle etc for coding and other same stuff . And their is BCA(BOARD OF CULTURE ACTIVITIES) for dancing, singing etc . Senior here are also very helpful. Diversity here is also remarkable

Hostel Facilities

Room here are quite spacious for double sharing Two table and two chairs are given and 3 almirah 's Two beds etc.Wifi in the hostel is 24 hours available It's is the best room in 20000 of cost . There are no Pg near . Hostels are well maintained

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

Admission

You can get till upto 1.40 lac rank in general category and 3lac rank in other categories. You can go directly from JOSSA or CSAAB COUNCELLING, CUET score is also valid. There is no reservation on basis caste .

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.
