In every semester there held 2 exams mid semester and end semester exam . The syllabus of this university is same as other gov .institutiions .Some teachers are highly qualified and helpful .Students are are also good in academics

Internships Opportunities

The companies that provide internship opportunities are. TCS, Infosys,Walmart,Nagarro ,Zscalar, accenture.The stipened offered to students is about 25000 Rs. Per month. The intern companies are tend to hire the interns for full time.

Placement Experience

Redarding placements lot of companies offer packages here like TCS , Infosys , Nagarro , Zscaler , Walmart . The highest package of last year was 17.8 lakh and the average package of last year is 6.1 lakh

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of odd semester is 86500 and even semester is 59000.The university also provide internships to sc students and also provide scholarship to general students on the basis of their income .

Campus Life

The annual tech fest held every year called "jashan" where students participates in many curricular activities like gidda ,bhangra,folk dance, organise plays and many more activities.There are also hackathons organised too.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel washrooms are very dirty/uncleaned here . Hostel electric faculity is not very good . Geyzers don't provide hot water for bath . They repair tubelight of rooms daily basis . There are very stray dogs in hostels

Admission

On the basis of jee main the student can get admission in the Guru Nanak Dev University.The student can apply on the official website of this university.The cutoff for other state is 250000 rank in jee mains exam.

Interview Experience

They organise an offline councelling where students appear on the day of their respective ranks. The student can apply for councelling form in the official website of uinversity .Alot of students come on the day of couscelling

MY HONEST REVIEW ABOUT MY COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

from 6th semester students become eligible for the placements and they should not have any backolgs or reappers in the exam and they should have morethan then 5 cgpa . as i am from the 2nd yeari donot know more aboutm the placement offered made but the average packagr is 3.5 to 4 lakhs per annual and around 70 to 80 percent of students are get selected in placement . and planns after getting the degree is to do higher studies in aerospace designing in the aircrafts.

Why I chose LPU ?

Placement Experience:

Here, the placement drive starts at the beginning of the 5th semester and goes till the end of the 8th semester. Here, all MNC like Google, Microsoft, Amazon, Capgemini, and many other companies come to our campus for hiring. In the very last year 2 students got selected with a prestigeous 2.5cr & 1 cr packages.

Placement Experience:

From 5th semester onwards students are eligible for the campus placement. Either they get internship or they get placement offers . Number of companies visited are more than 50. I will give some examples of some best companies like google , microsoft, accenture, virtusa, lenovo , Paypal, shadii. Com , JP morgan and many more other good companies visit to our college. Highest package last year was 52 lakh and the average package was 6 lakhs . More than 70 percent Student are getting placement. My plans after the degree is to get a good job in a good company

An honest Insight of my college LPU

Placement Experience:

From the 6 semester you will be eligible for the placement drive. Many companies visited LPU for recruitment and some of them are MNCs also The highest package is 1 crore from my batch and average is 7LPA. Around 90 to 95 % get placed.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum should be rated on how useful and complete it is. A good one covers all important topics like Software , Networking , Automata , SQLetc. it is mix theory and practical work . For CSE studendent there are coding laguage like C++ in 3rd sem and DSA in 4th semester.
