Course Curriculum Overview
I've keen interest in Civil engineering that's why I've choosen this course here. The placement is also average. College provides practical knowledge as well by taking us to field and under-construction buildings. Exams is held in 3 terms per semester.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible in 3rd year for campus placements. Around 20 companies visited and 47 offers were made. Highest package offered 8LPA and 3.5 LPA average package. 40-50% students are placed in Civil engineering. I am planning for ESE after my civil engineering.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fee structure for the B.TECH CIVIL ENGINEERING is 221000 per year. Scholarship is also available for the students. Eligibility criteria for availing scholarship is student has to score 8.5 CGPA and should be in top 10% in the class. The tuition feesbis provided as scholarship.
Campus Life
Overall campus life is good. Some fests also held in November month. A wide range of books are available in Library. Variety of sports are available with a great playground. Clubs such as photography club, social media club , NSS , NCC are also available.
Hostel Facilities
Hostel rooms are pretty good. Almirah, tubelight and fans are provided in hostel room. Meal quality is average. Menu is changes every month. PG or rented accommodation are not available nearby college. Registration process for hostel is provided alongwith the admission process.
Admission
Admission criteria for admission in Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University is from JEE as well as CUET. Application form can be found at University website and NTA.ac.in. The universe should take admission early in order to complete the admission process and cope up with other colleges.
