Course Curriculum Overview

I HAVE A INTREST IN ROBOTIC SO I CHOOSE THE MECHANICAL BRANCH AS MY FUTURE. IMPROVEMENT IS REQUIRED IN THE SYLLABUS TO UPGRADE IT AND TEACH ALL THE NEW THINGS WHICH ARE PRESENT IN TODAY'S WORLD. THEY GIVES 3HRS FOR THE EXAM AND THE EXAM IS QUITE EASY

Class Size: 52Course Fees: INR 53100 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Total cost of my education per year is approx 55000 Their is no scholarship for me I am a member of alumunii and placement cell of our college mechanical branch. And it gives me good leadership qualities for my future.

Campus Life

Their are lots of annual and tech fests organised in our college like robotics war of our mechanical branch in which we make drones, robaotics etc things. Almost all the books are available in our college library. Almost all the facilities are provide in our classroom like virtual learning etc. Their are lots of sports activities in our college and sports is also organised in our college. Their are lots of clubs in our college like literary, sports etc.

Admission

For eligibility of the course you have to clear a entrance exam called HPCET organised by HPTU . ALL THE APPLICATION FORM, application fees and dates are available on site of RGGEC OR IN HPTU official site. The exam is not much difficult as compare to jee mains or other exams organised by NTA. Improvent is required on the site of HPTU that the counselling is organised online.

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
