Course Curriculum Overview
The curriculum is like the typical indian education system, focus is on learning the information instead of increasing your skill set. The teaching staff is mostly very good woth a few exceptions. The difficulty of exams is quite right and not too tough, there are two examinations in one semester, mid semester exams and the end semester exams.
Internships Opportunities
There are some good companies who come here to offer internships and placements. TCS and Microsoft are some big names among them, some students are selected to work under some of their student programs.
Placement Experience
Students become eligible for internships and placements during the third year. Companies like TCS, Swiggy and other big companies come here to offer placements. The evrage package is about 700000/- per annum.
Fees and Financial Aid
The tuition fee is just almost right (about 140000/- per year). There are scholarships available for SC/ST students. The department office informs about the forms for such scholarships to the students.
Campus Life
The campus environment is quite good, a lot of opportunities are there like different clubs sych as drama club or dance clubs. A lot of choice is there for different types of sports. The library is quite big and has a lot of books for the students' help.
Hostel Facilities
Hostels are not that great here, in first year four students share a room, we get four beds and two to three tables and a total of six cupboards. The meals of the mess are not that bad but also not that great either. The washrooms are not very clean. Registration and fee payment for hostel is done online on the website.
Admission
I got admission here on the basis of my rank in the JEE Mains exam. Eligibility is minimum 10+2 pass. The application form can be found online on the website of GNDU. All the admission process is done online till you have to go the university for the counselling where they check if you are eligible, if you pass the criteria you get the admission by depositing the fee for the first semester.
