inviting applications for IIT Kharagpur Summer Internship Programme 2017. This Internship program is an especially for Computer Science/ Engineering students (and for engineering students in general) and it runs for two months during summers of every year. And the stipends were from 5k to 30k
Fees and Financial Aid
Scholarships are available for students coming from low-income backgrounds. Merit-based scholarships are provided to students with good academic and all-around performance. Education loans are provided by banks at competitive interest rates.
Hostel Facilities
Hall of residence Rooms are good in newly constructed halls like BR Ambedkar hall of residence, MMM hall of residence, and average in old Halls. When you talk about IITs you should talk about the culture and atmosphere there because you hardly stay in the hostel room when you have endless activities and fun on the campus. Unlimited net access and friendly and always ready to help seniors and very helpful administration. Altogether it's a perfect mix.
Alumni/Alumna
There are cells for alumni connections. Alumni regularly donate to make IIT Kharagpur and Kharagpur a better place. A lot of alumni are in good positions in both India and abroad. Seniors are mostly very helpful, they teach a lot of things and help you stay on the right track. They help you settle in the new place and make you feel at home.
Faculty
Most of the faculties have an overall experience of 20+yrs and they are very much groomed in their respective Fields
