Course Curriculum Overview
One thing that influenced my decision was my family background as my father is contractor who takes construction contracts. The curriculum makes you learn many things. The teachers can be more cooperative and attendance should not be mandatory.
Placement Experience
From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Recently TCS visited our campus and selected students in decent amount. Highest package from our college is 57 lacs and avg. Packege is 4 lacs. 60% students gets placed. My plan is to pursue M.Tech after graduation.
Fees and Financial Aid
As I am in a government college the fees is very reasonable which is 1.5 lacs per year. Which makes the complete cost 6 lacs. Scholarship is also available which is 57k provided by the state government. Currently I am not employed.
Campus Life
Annual fest of my college is ANUBHUTI which is held every alternate year. It is usually held in spring season. Books are available in abundant amount ranging from magazine to journals etc. College has club for each sports which organise different activities from time to time. Clubs are run by students of 4th year and 3rd year combined.
Hostel Facilities
There are different hostels alloted to students of each years. My hostel has about 300 students and one room is shared by two students. Washrooms are two on each floor. Meal is fair for survival purposes. Registration process is done along with admission process.
Admission
You have to qualify JEE Mains to apply in the college. One can apply on the website of UPTU, application fees can vary according to the category. Reservation benefits can also be availed. Exam should be held 3 to 4 times a year. And the seats should also be increased with the increasing competition in recent times.
