Course Curriculum Overview
Since, Civil Engineering Branch is a old and privileged branch of our college, thus a good decision to choose this course. The exposure and curriculum method is good hence prepares you for real-world applications. The Engagement and More Equipments might be added to improve Course Curriculum and Teaching Methods.
Placement Experience
Internship programs are provided since second semester, while placement are done after final year. TCS, HCL, Wipro are some of the big companies coming to campus for recruitments, average package of 5-6 lpa. Opting for further education ager degree.
Fees and Financial Aid
As a Government Institute and a privileged one tuition fees is quite good, and hikes must not be made. An average of 5 Lacks is needed for complete education. UP Scholarship is one for students benefits.
Campus Life
Our College helds many festivals mainly 'Anubhuti' for our College Cultural Fests, 'Tvaran' for Sports Fests, our 'Purvanchal StartUp Mahotsava' for promoting StartUp Ideas and many more club events and competitions. Library consists of many books related to curriculum. Classrooms are quite good. Many sports are also played as extra-curricular activities. Also, in 'Koshish' below poverty students are reached free of cost.
Hostel Facilities
Rooms and Hostel Facilities are not good as per an individual need, cleanliness is not taken serious. Meal quality is also average. Hostels are alloted after fees payment on the day of admission. Hostels are located inside KNIT Campus.
Admission
Eligibility of course is to qualify the JEE Mains examination. The Application Form, Application Fees and Application Dates are found on College Website. The frequency and timing relation of exam was quite typical. The Registration and Admission process might be simultaneous so that students from distant area might not face issues.
Interview Experience
I have prepared for JEE Mains for my admission process and had to undergo a counselling process by AKTU. I had my subject as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics for preparing the same. The difficulty level of the examination was moderate. After the results of JEE Mains, I have applied for my AKTU Councelling, and was allotted the college I am in.
Night Life
The nightlife around KNIT Sultanpur is relatively calm, with students unwinding at a few key spots. The gym stays open until 10 PM, offering a great place for relaxation after classes. The cafeteria closes around 10-11 PM, providing a casual spot for snacks and socializing. The library typically closes by 6 PM, and hostels have curfews around 10-11 PM, limiting late-night access. Popular hangout spots on campus include the central lawn, sports grounds, and hostel common rooms, where students gather to relax or study together. Off-campus, nearby areas like Golaghat have small cafes and eateries. The locality is relatively safe, but it’s better to avoid late-night outings alone. Overall, the atmosphere is peaceful and offers students a laid-back, social vibe, focusing more on relaxation and bonding rather than an active nightlife scene.
