A brief of TIET

Actually I want my self in tech field for which I had to choose computer branches and coding environment in thapar is good enough and the course I selected is the one which help me in achieving my goals. This course will prepare you mentally so you can enhance your skill. I think course curriculum is good but one thing they can do is teach one more language in 1st year and teaching methods are good except 75% criteria. As I mentioned previous exams are on time and difficulty level is moderate to difficult.

There are many internship opportunities which started from 2nd year and onwards. I am not much awared about this because I am in first year now. But if you have good skill set you will definitely get an internship.

For campus placement students are eligible from 2nd year *not sure. As I saw the data there are many companies like around 300-400 companies visited and gives around 1800 offers actually I see this data from offical site. Highest package is around 50 lac and average is around 13 lac but there are many students who got off campus opportunities and got packages of 1cr and more. I think around 80 percent students are placed every year, but on university's site this number is more than 95. I think I will go for masters after my degree.

Fees of thapar university is on higher side but you can get scholarship. There are different scholarship opportunities like in first year kn the basis of boards and jee rank, in second year scholarship is on the basis of cgpa. The fees of university has an annual increase of probably 10% I am not sure about that. Complete cost of your education including every charges like hostel, tution and other is around 25-30 lac for 4 years. In first year you will get scholarship accordingly like reducing tution fee to half or no tution fee. I am not much aware about campus employment but I saw some students working for professors.

There are lots of fest. There are not some selected months they are held every month accordingly. Thapar University's library is one of the biggest library in Asia and there is a wide range of books and journals which you can study or issue it and time. All the classrooms are well furnished and have air conditioners. There are lots of sports fests also including every sport and you have a very good opportunity if you want to go in a sport. Actually groups and clubs impact has an impact on student's academics but if you manage it they are very good for your upcoming years.

Hostels in thapar are very good and provided almost everything like I got a table,chair,almirah and luckily I also got a attached washroom. I think at starting meal is good but after some time quality is degraded and it's true. Registration process is simple you have to fill a Google form and you are done. And you know what you can get off on hostel and mess fees if your annual income is low.

Admission in thapar University is on the basis of boards and jee mains rank. You can find application form from online portal of thapar university and for fees you can use different websites like college dunia, college parvesh and many more. I didn't have any reservations but there are some reservations benefits like if someone's income is low then he/she can get scholarship. You can also get scholarship on the basis of your board marks and jee rank. Exams are on difficult side somewhere but if you study well there is no need to worry. Exams are conducted normally like after three months MST's are conducted and after next 1-2 month end sem are conducted. I think admission process is smooth but they can increase there speed for declaring results of different rounds conducted.
