I opted this course because I want to become a software developer. I think the coding is necessary for AI and other computer development and this is helping to solve real world problem. I think the improvement on move focus on practical or project not on the theory or less. Frequency of paper depends on the deficulty

College provide internship to third year and fourth year student . Internship provided by some company are Barc,drdo,isro,iit , Infosys etc in our college. Some students got with own for internship . There is so many opportunities

Placement Experience

As a computer science student . I know about my department placement . The average placement of this university is about 7lakh . Highest package in this year is 19.5 lakh . Many students got placement and some go for higher studies

Fees and Financial Aid

For 1 year of program . The university charge 141000 for academic + 23000 mess + 20000 hostel. If you got 8.5 CGPA or it's above then university provide full next academic fee free. All employees have good behaviour in respect their speaking and others.

Campus Life

My overall experience is good . The sports and others club like dancing AI etc are famous here . All things are best here . Sports campus and other . As you know the effect of club impact the overall students and social environment.

Hostel Facilities

There are Six hostel available in this university Four are for boys and other two are for girls. The mess community of this university is disappointed from their food . The registration process is simple .

Admission

I got addmission through jossa counseling.. I give the exam jee mains and I got 75.6 percentile and got benefit of reservation . Jee main held every year twice in January and April months . The paper is difficult of jee mains

The review

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is quiet relevant it covers all the important subjects and topics.I chose the Ece branch as the demand of semiconductors is rising in the future. The curriculum perpares us well for real world applications. The course teaches us a lot of outdated concepts but it misses out to teach about what is happening in the world right now. So the course can involve a lot of topics that are in trend.

My point of view on NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

In 7th semester we become eligible for placements and sit for on campus interviews . In mechanical ONGC , IOCL ,JSW , physics wallah , vedanta and for cse and IT there are companies like paypal , microsoft (internship) , increff etc come for on campus placement.

A student's perspective

Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements. Companies like google microsoft facebook vedanta have visited and offered an average package of around 10 lpa. Highest package is of 45 lpa and lowest of 8 lpa. There is 100% placements of students from core branches. After i get my degree i want to work in a tech company and learn about technology.

The life of student at NIT Srinagar

Placement Experience:

The college placemts is good the average is areound 10lakh per annum , the comapnies that visit for placements and internships are VISA , MICROSOFT, PAYPAL, GOLDMANSACCHS, NVIDIA, CISCO, WIPRO , L&T , PHYSICS WALLAH, INCREFF , other startups etc. My plan is to crack on-campus placement from a good company.

NIT Srinagar - A Beautiful place but Underwhelming Experience

Placement Experience:

Placemets start right from your 7th semester. Most comapnies that would come here would be like vedanta , ashok leyland etc etc who mainly do mass hiring, th no of offers are quite low as for durig my time most companies qul do diversity and hiring would only select girls and the girls were low in numbers as compared to the boys so each girl recieved atleast 2-3 offers while rarely a boy would even rev=cieve a single offer. The highest package was offered by Vedanta but it was 13 lpa in ct in hand it would be arond 5-6 lpa , the average package was also the same around 5-6 lakhs per annum. Percentage of students placed would be around 30 percent but they inflated the numbers heavily but showing only the students who were eleigible as boys were mostle ineligible. My plans are to look for masters somewhere abroad.

Nice and Unbiased review of Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University Katra

I have applied in many colleges and I also get seat in them but the only reason I use assembly because the college is close from my home. Just because of travelling purposes I choose this college. The admission process in our college is not very difficult. The only way to get admission in the college by csab counselling and by college internal counselling.The cut off of the branch is 60 percentile for general students.
