Likes

The atmosphere at the place where college is includes a mountaining landscape and perfect view of nature .
The seniors and faculties very helpful for the students.
The locality is very broad minded and supportive for the modernization.

Dislikes

There is no such amount of very huge resources as As some students find difficulty for adhering for many things.
Transportation facility for the college is not so good
There is no development of labs in the mechanical department.I think they should have to work on them

Course Curriculum Overview

The course is relevant to today's technology advancements. The curriculum teaches us the things that are required in real world Applications. Teaching methods in the college are very good. 2 internal exams are held. Each semester and one final exam is held at the end of this semester.. The level of difficulty of the exam is dependent upon the teacher.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 52850 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The total fee structure for the boys in order to master is 24850 and in Even semester is 28020. And the fee structure for girls students in even semester is 13020 and in odd semester is 98 50 the total fee for the education in the college is around 4 lakh for boys. Scholarship is provided for lower caste students and other states students companies like ralco Tyres Jai Bharat Maruti visits the campus for placements.

Campus Life

Technical fest, literary club events , NSS events and many more abd usually they are held in the month of September and October. There are many books related to our course and books for competitive exams are also available. One can issue more than one book at a time.There are many journal available in the library which gives knowledge about new advancement in technology. In the classroom, there are fans,white boards,projector and projector screen, benches. There is sports meet held every semester in our college and many games event are also held .For the overall development of students extra curricular activities are organized by college.

Admission

Admission process for the admission in the colleges both online and offline. The application forms for the admission can be found on the official website of the HP TU. The evasion benefits are given for the students of lower castes and other states students like Jammu and Kashmir. There is no such improvement required in admission process

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Environment of my college

Remarks:

There are mostly good remarks for college like the environment in kangra Himachal Pradesh is best in the area. There are dhauladar hill ranges infront for college and fress air of hilly areas are good for students.
