Best College Ever

There is nothing bad in this college according to my opinion and there are several good things that are mentioned above.????

Bit mesra is not just a college its a brand. Its academic record and placement record has always been great in compare to many engineering colleges. Besides this college is very famous in all over India. This college was preferred by my mentors, teachers, parents and friends too.

The courses provided here are in a large number. This college has a Space Science and Rocketry department too which is very rare in many colleges. This college provides many courses irrespective of field to learn.All the courses ensure good placements and better future.

As mentioned, I am a 1st year student so i dont have that much knowledge abour this question, but yes Internship is provided here that too from very famous companies(eg:-Microsoft, Goldman Sachs etc.)

Placements and job oppurtunities is best thing that our college provides. Many famous abroad companies recruits from this college. For eg:- Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, L&T etc. The college placement record is brilliant in comparision to many famous engineering colleges.

There are several events that takes place in Bit mesra. The main three are:- -BITOTSAV -PANTHEON -VAJRA BITOTSAV is bit mesra cultural fest which takes place for 3-4 days. In this we are able to see some famous bollywood celebrities and many more. PANTHEON is bit mesra technical fest which takes place for 3 day. In this fest there is lot to learn. VAJRA is the bit mesra annual sports meet.

Here the fee structure for btech is approximately 3 lakhs per year. So we can say it is feasible. This 3 lakhs consist of everything including hostel, mess,etc. Around 85k is tuition fee of one semester, around 50k for mess and hostel and remaining includes the other expenses.

A scholarship is provided for sc, st, obc category students i.e. If they have a cgpa of 8 or more than 8 they get 20% off of the annual fee of the college. This is all i know in this field.

Campus life is really awesome. Gender ration is 60:40. There is no. Of clubs present over thats makes our campus life even more awesome. Clubs like drama club, robotics club, computer programming clubs, racecar clubs, dance club, Rotaract club and many more.

The Hostel facilities and mess food are not very brilliant or something but I would say its more than average. Somedays it's nice and some days not up to the mark. Here it is double accommodation in the 1st year, but from second year the college provides single accommodation in well-furnished rooms.

The alumni networks are always available for those in need. They are always ready to help their fellow juniors. The seniors here are very polite and generous with juniors. They always offer help whenever needed.

Exam structure is student Friendly. In one semester there are two exams -Mid Sem -End Sem And before both the exams a small test takes place whose marks are taken in account while making the result. Our 1st semester ends in December and 2nd semester begins from January.

After completing my 12th exams.Im a sc criteria candidate. I appeared for jee main and easily cleared the sc criteria cut off which was 29. Then I registered for josaa and bit mesra was one of my choices. On the 6th round bit mesra was alloted to me for civil engineering.

The Faculty here is very qualified and shows interest in making us learn. Their behavior towards the students is very generous and supportive. Most of the teaching faculty consists of a doctorate in their respective fields. They always tend to help the students in need.
