I have a deep passion for biotechnology and research, which is why I am pursuing this field. The courses I am currently studying provide valuable real-life applications through practical laboratory experiences. While the teaching methods are average, the professors are highly knowledgeable and effective in imparting their expertise.

Computer engineering students enjoy excellent placement opportunities, whereas for other branch students, there are fewer companies specifically in the core biotechnology sector. However, non-tech companies such as Deloitte, JP Morgan, Amazon, etc., also participate in the placement drives, providing opportunities for students from various branches to participate.

The fee for B.Tech Biotechnology is 218,000 per semester, excluding hostel fees and additional personal expenses. Hostel accommodations range from 50,000 to 85,000, including mess charges. Scholarships are awarded annually based on merit or CGPA, with some government scholarships available for underprivileged students. Scholarship eligibility is relative to the class, with individuals scoring above 8.5 CGPA having a higher chance of receiving financial aid.

The campus life is vibrant and diverse, with over 30 societies and clubs catering to various interests such as event planning, astronomy, sports, tech and cultural activities. There's no limit to how many clubs you can join, fostering a rich social environment. The infrastructure and hostels are excellent, with a focus on hygiene and maintenance. The library is expansive and well-stocked, offering a wide range of books for students to access seamlessly.

The hostel facilities are satisfactory, providing good and healthy mess food with a maintained variety. All hostels are equipped with study tables and shoe stools, with the majority being air-conditioned. Additional amenities include gyms, reading rooms, and paid canteens for snacks. Laundry services are available, and their fees are included in the hostel charges. Hostel allocations are determined during the admission process alongside branch allocation.

Application forms are available on official website during admissions. Eligibility for Btech Biotechnology- PCB score (more than 80 %) or NEET score. Scholarships are awarded based on merit. The admission process typically consists of 2 to 3 rounds with specified cutoff ranges. Following that, candidates proceed to admission counseling, which includes document verification, branch allocation, and hostel assignment.
