- Best campus life with helpful seniors and professors
- infrastructure is too good, whether it be of hostels or academic blocks or library or sports complex
- all necessities present inside the campus like food courts , small market complex , medical center and shop.
Dislikes
- Quite busy academic schedule, the quizes and assignments are held very frequently so you dont get much of free time.
- 75% attendance criteria is too strict even for senior years.

Course Curriculum Overview
The courses offered by the insititute are very upto date and are based more on the industry and practical knowledge also the institute makes sure to adapt all the new technological changes as soon as possible , the insitute condusts two exams - mid sems and end sems along with lab practicals, quizes and assignments.
Internships Opportunities
All major companies like de shaw, jpmc, american express, arcesium, accenture, etc visit the campus to provide internship opportunities , with mostly having stipend of 40k above/month and the roles they offer are sde, product manager, data or business analyst also core companies like texas instruments relianance, hero , maruti suzuki , tvs come for core branches with technical roles.
Placement Experience
The college provides with all the internships and placement opportunities starting from 2 year itself, more than 500+ companies visit the campus , for campus hiring and the average package of the college as recorded of last placement session is 11.5 lakhs which is pretty good as compared to other colleges.
Fees and Financial Aid
There is 10% increase in the tuition fees every year and the complete degree will cost you around 20-25 lakhs (hostel and mess included) but the institute provides a lot of scholarships , firstly on the basis of your JEE score and then on your CGPA, (top 10% students from every branch get full tuition fee wavier), also there are special scholarships for female candidates and for candidates with low family income
Campus Life
Thappar institutes provides the best college life in terms of exposure and infrastructure. Infrastructure is top notch , designed by architects around the world. There are more than 60 active clubs and socities to test and enjoy your various talents and skills also they conduct many events very frequently all the 9-10 months , when we are on campus also the cultural fest of Thapar- Saturnalia is one of the biggest cultural fests among all the colleges. The infrastructure of library and sports complex is also one of the best.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels of this institute literally feel like 5 star hotels, with all the neccesary services provided like- matress , almirah , study table , ac , lifts, laundary services, mess services and all this can be registered while the admition process. The food in the mess is also very good as compared to other colleges.
Admission
The eligibility criteria is 12+JEE,both considererd with equal weightage and the apllication form is easily available on the main website of Thapar and then the counselling process for admition is conducted on campus (offline mode) only.
