Course Curriculum Overview
The course is definitely good and has a lot of opportunities in it but the institute lacks in both the quality and quantity of practical learning but more in quality. A few research initiatives have been taken , but i think it is on paper only and not worth mentioning.
Internships Opportunities
Very rarely and only few students get an internship through college. I have talked to them, their experience was good and the average stipend amount was 5000 or no stipend at all.
College Events
Our college is good at organizing events because of majority of them are student driven and very less dependent on college management still it lacks in quality due to the absence of proper guidence from seniors and teachers and less enthusiasm in students about college events. Prayukti is the tech fest of our college which is followed by Rivera the musical night , last year Ash king performed in our college . Other than this we have robotics event, ieee event, The Hit Times event , several seminars on different issues, and Annual cultural meet.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Quite affordable. It is approximately 40000 per sem
Fees and Financial Aid
Yes for poor students belonging to west bengal and toppers of each year, they have to pay only registration charges. I haven't availed any of them till now.
Hostel Facilities
I resided in hostel for 1 year. They were on sharing basis. They don't had PGs. we used to pay 2000 rupees hostel charge and approximately 2500 for food.
Alumni/Alumna
Yes, alumni network contributes to college, not at large extent.
Faculty
Highly qualified from reputable institutes. Majority of them lack a lot experience, interaction and teaching quality.
