Course Curriculum Overview

There is no such specific aspects to choose that Course For Me ..I wrote jee mains so that I got admission in CIT I Got Cse I like that branch and Course I want to Pursue Engineering so that I took Admission in CIT.The frequency Of Each sem is 4 months Including Exams some times 4 months 15 days

Class Size: 50Course Fees: INR 56000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

I dont think so there is Tution fee increment policy there are not increasing tuition fee for every semester .The actual fee is Based on Categories If you are from General than Fee for sem is 27000 and for other Categories it's not same.People who are having Reservation their fees are less.

Campus Life

My overall experience in this campus is just ok out of 10 I am giving 5 ..And Focusing on social Aspects is Not that much encouragement and also..Infrastructure is not bad it's fine...Having good Labs..And sports are encouraged as well as Clubs also Going well.The library Consists of Approximately 10000 Books.And the Facilities in Classroom are nice not having any problem In class and Fans,lights etc are available in Good Quantity.

Hostel Facilities

Facilities provided in Room is Good 2 fans 2 lights For each room 3 people..And 3 beds,3 study tables are provided.Coming to review of meal Out of 10 I an giving 5 it's not soo good tasty is not good quality is not bad.You have to do Registration For hostel In online The allotment of rooms will be done by Hostel Management Cell

Hostel Fee: INR 12000 per year

Admission

The Admission Process is Good.And coming to Application Process First we have to apply Online When they announced than We have to give Entrance Exam.After that they will announce results Means Score card through Online.After that Counselling dates will be Announced We can Apply By seeing Previous Year cutoff As well as we cutoff differ for category To category Its not same for all

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

Other colleges I applied were NEHU and Tezpur University.I got IT branch in NEHU and Mechanical in Tezpur and CSE in CIT kokrajhar.I preferred CIT because the CSE branch is what I wanted from the beginning.Even though it's infra level is less than Tezpur University,but I didn't wanted to waste time in other branch rather than CSE .CIT compared to NEHU had better chances for CSE students....Read More
