I was always into circuit designs,and power electronics.The working of electrical gave me the thirst to know more about this industry that's why I chose this particular field .They mould us to do basics of electrical engineering as it is core subject we will be able to divert to any field too.

Placements are available at this college. 50 % of students get placed at our college to companies like quandys etc. Highest package available is 1500000 according to best of my knowledge. After completing btech I am planning to do my master's abroad.

GEC palakkad is known for the different works and fests they have done.The best program done in this year was "Invento". Invento was a fest which had numerous workshops, fashion shows, entertainment programmes etc. All required books and documents are available in our library which is also easily accessible. Numerous clubs and activities are also there which is very active.

I'm in men's hostel . The hostel experience is so good and the fee structure of the hostel is minimum varies between 2000-2500. Talking about the food , the food quality is top notch we have non veg food for 4 days in a week . Even if you didn't get in govt men's hostel there is no issue,private hostels are also available nearby which is comparatively of higher price.

Eligibility of course:- Minimum 50% marks should be obtained in physics, chemistry and mathematics in plus two board exam.The applicant should clear keam examination to get into college. Reservation benefits:- SC,ST,OBC OEC,sports quota
