Course Curriculum Overview
Our course focuses on current trends and developments in the field of civil engineering with more emphasis on next-gen clean and green technology. We have practical sessions parallelly running with the theory classes. One of our esteemed faculty has received the BIRAC SRISTI Award 2016 from the President of India for his outstanding innovation in the field of environmental engineering.
Internships Opportunities
We have departmental internships like MS Project for Civil Engineering, ANSYS for Mechanical Engineering, etc all accordingly.
Placement Experience
The average package for this current academic year was around 4 lakhs. The major recruiters included Cummins, TCS, Zaloni, etc.
College Events
Techxetra is the annual techno-cultural fest of the university which witnesses around 9000+ footfalls throughout the 4-day long extravaganza. It is the biggest techno-cultural fest of the North East. In addition to it, we have Insignis, an annual science fest; Sampark, an annual business fest organized by the Dept. of Business Administration, Annual Meet and Cultural Evenings and many others.
Fee Structure And Facilities
The fees over here are amongst the most reasonable ones in the entire country as its a centrally funded technical institute. The structure is as follows:- Admission : Rs.84,400/- Rest 7 Sems: Rs.24000/- each
Fees and Financial Aid
Almost all the students whose annual parental income fails to touch Rs. 4 lakhs are entitled to ISHANUDAY SCHOLARSHIP receiving Rs.7800/- per month for technical courses and Rs.5400/- for non-technical courses.
Hostel Facilities
It is a completely residential university with 7 women's and 5 men's hostel thereby hoisting more than 4000 students on the campus with the latest amenities, 24*7 electricity, and pure water. The ambiance is noteworthy.
Faculty
Our faculty team consists of IIScians, IITians, NITians and the Govt Engineering Colleges of our state. In fact, they are always there for any sort of help both in academics and mentally. To be very honest, the standard of teaching is on par with the IITs of our country. It's emerging to be one of the best in the country.
