Course Curriculum Overview

I would rate my branch 8 out of 10. As I am in IT department. This department is going to help me in future. as it as there is a highly demand of this branch in future generation. The teachers are quite good over here And our highly qualified.

Class Size: 88Course Fees: INR 96000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The first semester fees is 72000 included miscellaneous charges. The second semester fees is 44000 the third and the fourth semester fees is ?45100. The the fifth and the sixth semester feedis 46205th and sixth semester fees, 47300. There is a scholarship for the students who have done their tenth and twelveth from west bengals schools.

Campus Life

There are lots of clubs over here like fashion ,drama music, dance ,sports ,Literature ,GDSC ,photography ,nss which are going help in making our social life good. The books are provided by the library members very easily. Each and every subject books are available over here.

Admission

The admission process is quite easy. It is done through the wbjee entrance exam. I have given this exam cleared it. I've got a good rank connectly.I'm in IT department second year. The application form filling starts from december to january and the exam will be held in april.

Placement Experience:

I don't have idea about the placements since I'm in first year now. But I talked to a senior and got to know that many got multiple offers in 4th year. I also head that packages are around 4 lpa which is a decent and also a rise than the previous year.

The summary of my four years in one of the oldest colleges in India

Placement Experience:

The campus placements happen in final year of the course. There is a well established placement cell to conduct the on-campus placements. Many well renowned companies visit our college namely Microsoft, Google, TI, TSL, PWC, ICICI, ABG. L&T, etc. The highest package was 50LPA and the average was around 9LPA. Over 90% students got placed from across every department and details of the placement is also available in the college official website. I have gotten a job from the on-campus drive to a core company.

Placement Experience:

The placements of our college are below average. Studies for placement are more or less relevant from second semester. companies like tcs, amazon etc do visit our campus however very few are selected with package above 4-5 LPA. Most of the students seek out for higher studies and that's my plan too.

It's my decision from class 12 that I will do civil engineering, so I chose the civil branch, the course curriculum is well and the teaching level is good but the main problem is lab, there is very limited classes for lab, so I think they should improve there.

Placement Experience:

After the 6th semester, the students are eligible for placements. Mass recruiters like TCS, Wipro, Infosys, Accenture, Capgemini, etc visit every year and pick up 80-100 students per company. Other companies like Amazon, Thoughtworks, Etc also visit the college. The highest package offered by our college is 15LPA by Thoughtworks. Every year around 75-80% of students get placed on campus. I plan to get a good job work for 2-3 years and then apply for Masters. Overall the placement is very nice in this college.
