Course Curriculum Overview

I think this is the best course and indeed a great importance is given to this course. 100% focus is done on practical learning. The elective options for CSE that are available in ADBU are: e-commerce & data security, personal & mobile communications, image processing & pattern recognition, android app development fundamentals, distributive computing, network security & cryptography, concepts of advanced operating systems

Internships Opportunities

yes it provides internship. I am still studying in this college but i have seen others getting internship and they have a positive review in this section.

Placement Experience

Placement scenario is quite impressive. 90-100% students gets placed in highly equipped companies. The major companies that visited the campus are vodafone, indian oil, BSNL,TATA,Tiara,HCL, Indian Army,Microsoft,NIIT,Spicejet,Wipro,Tech Mahindra,Huawei and many more.

College Events

There are two major fest .One is the Tech fest named as ''PRAJYUKTTAM" which is based on the co-curricular clubs and the other one is based on the extra-curricular clubs named as "D' VERBE". These fest are awesome and well organised.

Fee Structure And Facilities

I would say that it is quite affordable as compared to another institutes. Per semester one needs to pay 50k . 4 years costs around 5-6 lac.

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes our college provides lots of scholarships. Though i didn't avail it because of my parents annual income criteria is higher then expected but many of my friends did and its great.

Hostel Facilities

I travel from my home only as i am a resident here. But i know about the hostel facilities as my friends stays there. Hostel rooms are of two types - 3 beds or 4 beds. Yes there are many PGs also near by. Food is not bad and is of good quality and quantity which includes breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner. It fulfills all the necessities . Hostel fees is somewhat 30k per semester

External Expense: Rs.7000 - Rs.10000

Alumni/Alumna

The alumni is quite strong and very helpful. They are always eager to work further for any betterment.

Faculty

Maximum of our teachers are Ph.D holder. They are highly educated with good knowledge in the particular field. They are very interactive. We get a very good quality education with daily classes along with well equipped notes and digital teaching. The lab courses are also very helpful that connects the real & virtual world to a greater extent

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

Review about my Campus life

Addmission process was quite good as for me I have only 48.8 in my 12, though I was list in waiting list I got the addmission as per as I know for ST is 45% but overall they see 50%. After filling for the addmission we have to give personal interview but no entrance exam were taken. We can find the applications and fees structure all in the college website.
