- No fest cultural functions are held no concerts
- No sports facility for girls except archery and basketball
- The campus is very small in comparison to other colleges
Course Curriculum Overview
I am in the second semester till now we have to read all the subjects I am not quite introduced by my subject but still there is a lot of scope in this field because of the massive need of data scientist
Internships Opportunities
I am in my second semester so I did not get any internship but most of the students from the 2nd year starts doing paid or unpaid internships the college placement cell also helps in finding internship and managing classes while you are busy there
Placement Experience
There are on campus placements from.the company like Infosys but the on campus only reaches most to most 10 lakh I guess but there is a scope in off campus as it judges your skills the highest package is off campus of 45 lakh and average package is 5 lakh I might go for higher studies after doing btech from here
Fees and Financial Aid
The total amount of semester fees here is about 4 lakh and if you stay in hostels which is only for girls then you have to pay 9100 you will get to know about some scholarships based on your 10th 12th marks or rank I guess
Campus Life
Our college lacks in fest alot I am in my second semester but till now not a singl4 fest has been organised which is not a good sign we have a huge library and I guess it has quits a lot book there are acs in some room some classrooms are quite big some are small too the sports facilities for girls is very less
Hostel Facilities
The hostel facility is very nice overall there are 4 seater 3 seater 2 seater and some single rooms also on each floor or in some hostels each flat has its own induction as well as refrigerator some hostels are very spacious there are 6 girls hostel inside campus but there is no ac the food is not that much good but still adjustable there is alot of competition for hostel seat near our college you will find some pgs but in ruby you will find alot
Admission
I got admission through wbjee entrance my rank is 5912 I got cse with specialisation in data science in heritage the admission process is kinda hectic for me as I have to come from bihar for round 1 and round 2 verification there is alot reservation for West Bengal students the exam is quite difficult because of the time given the no. Of other state students is less because of which many teachers uses bengali as a language which cause students like us a lot problem
