Course Curriculum Overview

I rate the course cirricullum 9 out of 10 because i learnt alot which is beyond my expectation . lab facility is so good and lovely proffesor who always support you what ever be the sitiuation. subject are also interesting and always learn new thing so it was good

Placement Experience

there is no such type of placement in which 80% people got placed , here 20% studentgot place with limited branches and company . so placement scenerio needs to be improved, imy goal is to start my own company as a start up.

Fees and Financial Aid

in our college the annual fees for b.tech is nearly 54000, and there is no such scolarships available to any kind of student . no finincial assistence provided, nearly zero pearson are got working in campus as an part or full time employment

Campus Life

campus of my university is pretty good,and natural beauty is here . infrastructure is also good ,maintence of department is also nice ,overall facilities are good. classrooms are also good and large ad lecture hall is also ,smart classroom all are present

Hostel Facilities

in hostel many things are good that is rooms are good and bathroom are also clean . mess food is quite nice comapred to other hostel near this college.hostel events are there .inter hostel games ,fun activity, and many more is there in hostel

Admission

i gave jee mains exam in 2021 ,i prepared hard and i got approx 1 lakh rank out of 7 lakh . I scored 90 percentile so i suppose to belive that take part in counselling at last so that i can get atleast government college and at last i got tezpur university which is very nice campus. i took admission in b.tech as electrical engineering. cut off of my exam was 85 percentile for general . my counselling was done by jossa and csab, thanks.

Placement Experience:

Placements at IIT Guwahati are excellent especially in the tech field ,with high placement rates and strong average packages generally Rs 30 lakh per annum. Top companies regularly visit the campus. After completing the course if i do not get placed on campus which is hardly possible i'll look for other off campus placements.

Most of the professors are good here.The college covers the core subjects required for strong foundation in engineering. However the theoretical coverage is good the scope for practical exposure is still required.

Placement Experience:

The placement is quite good in my college. In 7 th semester the placements start and the package goes from 16lpa to 2 cr . About 75 percent student who applied got placed . I want to work in a software firm.

Placement Experience:

Students normally appear for placements in fourth year with two placement seasons namely from december to january and february to march. Companies include quant companies and tech giants like JPMC, Reliance Industries, WellsFargo,Piramal, Standard Chartered,Texas Instrumentation, walmart, Microsoft, Amazon, Deloitte,Oracle, HCL, Barclays, Tata steel, uber, legato, Mastercard, Nutanix, BPCL, BEL,PWC, Socgen, etc. Almost 80% students get placed every year with the average package ?1,60,000. The highest package was 1.68 crore per annum from the branch of Computer Science.

ASSAM UNIVERSITY SILCHAR , THE GOOD THE BAD AND THE UGLY

Placement Experience:

only fourth year students are eligible for campus placements . the detalis of the visiting compaies are not thte sure but at least 10 stuents are placed each year from every single batch. the higest so far was 20 lpa and it was in amazon , the student who cracked that placement applied it off campus . on campus placement was not more than 10 lpa so far . the percentage of students getting placemnets are less than 50% not because of quality of placement but majority stuents opt for higher studies or goverment jobs rather than direct placement . my paln is to also pursue higher education

Charmingly Challenging Champion

Placement Experience:

After the 6th sem placement season starts. The intern season takes place at the end of the 4th sem. The placement of the college is extremely good. The average package of the college is around 21 lakhs. That of CSE is 41 lakhs. Mncs is 35 lakhs etc. Projected package of my branch DSAI is 40 lakhs.

I applied for different nits but couldn't get any because my jee mains percentile was little low , i applied for GFTIs like Assam University and Tezpur University, I got seat in both of them but I chose Tezpur University because it was far more better then Assam University both in terms of academics and infrastructure. My college admits students on the basis of exams like JEE Mains , TUEE , CUET , etc. For the engineering course the students are admitted on the basis of JEE Mains and TUEE scores and the cutoff is not fixed, it changes every year . A look at TU for MBA program

TU is a central government university and the ambience is majestic out here. I personally like the university very much as it creates such a bond, you would have memories forever.
