Course Curriculum Overview

Im intersex in coding and things thats why i choose the computer science in btech the exams are conducted once in every six months . The syllabus is quite vast and should be considered being making short

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Tution fees is 9650 for general and 1000 for sc students . The complete estimated fees is 350000 including hostel fees and all. I currently haven't undertaken any college jobs at present and stipend isnt provided in our college

Campus Life

Tech fest is conducted every once in a year . Our library are quite good and books are available and wifi is provided in library. Sports and art fest is conducted once in a year IEEE and gbot are some of the clubs present in our college

Admission

Eligibility of the corse is plus two and qualifying keam entrance exam application form for keam can be found on cee.govt.in site . Exams are conducted every 6 months after the coarse starts admission process should quite faster

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
