Course Curriculum Overview

Passion about vehicles and machines made me choose mechanical engineering as main subject sem exams are conducted every once in 6 months Syllabus is quite vast and i suggest higher authorities to recheck the syllabus.

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Complete coarse fee estimated for 4 years including hostel rent travel charges and all are 3 lachs At present im not acquiring any financial aid from any sources No stipend are awarded in our college

Campus Life

The anual tech fest is conducted once in every year Art fest is conducted every once in a year And sports meet is kept in the month january IEEE, gbot, Automotive clybs are some of the clubs present in our college

Admission

Eligibility of the coarse is plus two and qualifying keam entrance exam application form can be found on cee. Govt. In Entrance exam is conducted once in every year. Admission process can be quite faster

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA

If you want to be in a controlled environment, focus on academics, make use of some good placement opportunities, and get somewhere career-wise I would be suggesting Amrita University.
