CET MY DREAM CAMPUS

The main factor that influenced me to take bachelor's in civil engineering due to the large number of job opportunities in our societies. It covers a vast area in civil engineering but doesn't give us full details about a particular topic.Hence after completing this course a person must be able to design a basic structure in future. The other problem is the usage of older instruments and techniques in laboratory than implementing modern and latest methods and equipment. The exams are usually of moderate difficulty but since the topics are vast , in some subjects the time may not be sufficient to complete the exam.

There are many internships opportunities like ULCC, VSSC, Nits, pwds, kwa etc.There are not many internships offered by college.We have to find internships by ourselves by applying on the respective companies site. Internships helps us to gain technical knowledge and practical knowledge which helps us to develop our skills.

Students are eligible for placements from 3rd year( semester 6).Our college brings large number of placement opportunities. Companies that visited to college during the past 5 years includes Amazon, Sobha constructions, Texas instrumentation , Deloitte , Larson & Turbo,etc.The highest package that the college got is 36lpa or electronics and communication department and the average package is 6lpa.Almost 1500 students got placed in each year.The main plan is to get placed in a good company else would go for higher studies and would crack government exams.

During the time of admission a fee of 9600 rupees is to paid.Then for each semester the fees is around Rs.5000 to 6000.Then a fees of around Rs2000 is to be paid as exam registration fee.This fees varies according to different subjects.There are a large number of scholarships available in the campus. It includes egrantz,caste based , girl child scholarship etc.

There are mainly three college fests. They are disha, drishti and dhwani.Disha is conducted by 2nd years for first years and is basically a techno-cultural fest held in month of January. Drishti is technical fest and dhwani is the cultural fest and is conducted in the period April to may.There are various department fests conducted by various departments. There is a main technical library and each department had its own library. The technical provisions include laboratories, projectors,etc. Extracurricular activities includes sports meet, college dance team [WATCH THE FREAKZ], music bands[ Basant band, Mihika band], indoor and outdoor gym etc..There are different technical clubs like IEE, tinkerhub, ASCE etc.It provides a huge opportunity for students to gain technical knowledge and skills.

The eligibility of the course is that the students must have taken physics , chemistry and maths till 12th std and should clear keam conducted by CEE with required scores.After cracking keam, the admission procedure is completed through the CEE website.The admission is taken in general category hence no reservation is applied.For the exam there was two papers , one for physics and chemistry and the other for maths.The allotment process is always delayed which causes so much difficulties for the students.Also there should be more stage in admission process.
