Course Curriculum Overview

I love mechanical engineering . It's an evergreen branch There are quite god possibilities after btech for this course The exams are conducted sem wise every six months I suggest making changes in syllabus because it's quite vast

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Tution fees is 9650 per year Complete estimated coarse fees is arround 50000 for four years Currently I'm not availing any financial aids Currently I'm not undertaken any responsibility or jobs in college

Campus Life

The annual tech fest is conducted once in every year Library Is available for everything branch and one main library is also present in our college IEEE , gbot , MESA are some of the clubs present in our college

Admission

50% of the seats are reserved The eligibility for the coarse is plus 2 and qualifying keam entrance exam The entrance exam is conducted once in every year I suggest admission process being quite faster

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
