The exams of ktu are in corrupt time. They dont lag any of exam
Faculitys and other staff are very efficient
College infrastructure is very good. I like the atmosphere

Dislikes

Transportiation facillity is not good enough
The equipments in the labs is short. And collage ground is too short

I choose mechanical engineering because iam passionate about mechanical machines especially wehicles. The teachers in this collage is very good and experienced. Their teaching style is awesome. And the exams are on time

Class Size: 53Course Fees: INR 9650 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

There are so many scholarship like egrantz etc. Around 9000-10000 is the fee per year. More than that there are some additional fees like sports and arts fee bus fee etc in fisrt year. Campus placement for mechanical engineering is too low

Campus Life

The campus life is good there are so many clubs in collage like ieee, karma, gbot, automotive, cycle club, national service scheme etc. And all clubs are well active and their programms are too helpfull for the community

Admission

The admission process was through kerala engineering and medical entrence exam. I passed 12th and qualified entrence exam with a avarage rank. There is no online payment option during the admission process

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Is engineering here worth it?

Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
